You are bidding on A running driving and currently inspected (May this year) 1960 Austin Healey 3000 with Vin number HBT7L/4757. It comes with the original license plates from England. It also has the side curtains, convertible top, spare wheel, jack. I drove the car last week and my conclusion is the brakes work well and the engine fired right up on the first crank. The oil pressure is rock steady and strong. The body and paint are rough and I've shown that in the photos. The previous owner had the transmission worked on and the linkage will now not physically shift into 1st or 3rd gear engine on or off. It would shift before the work was done. I've known the previous owner for years. The overdrive doesn't seem to engage either. I had no problem driving it like this as the engine pulled well, but someone should set the linkage right. The seats are in reasonable condition and the gauges all appear to work. The charging and cooling systems work fine. The car passed inspection last month (May). The car has always been driven every year and had plates on it and was being used regularly through this fine month. The paper work is clean. The tires have plenty of tread. Really this car can be driven and enjoyed. I can arrange shipping for you or you can arrange it yourself. The car can be driven onto the car carrier. As the car runs and drives and is inspected, I personally just drove the car home. Last year I had a car shipped from Texas to upstate N.Y. for about $600, but that was last year.
