This is my wife's 1979 Volkswagen Convertible. We got it 5 years ago and have driven it in summers. I had it listed about a month ago, and had a gentleman and his wife come out to see it but it had sat in the garage since last fall and being lazy I didn't start it before they came. Of course the battery was dead and it wouldn't start. I then went out and bought a new battery for it, after that and for the last couple weeks we have been driving it again. The top is the orginal and probably should be replaced. The floor in the left rear had a patch welded in, about 12" x 12". Other than that the floors and heater channels/ convertible side rails are the originals and are good. It has the original fuel injected engine which runs great, and really have no problems with it.
