Up for sale is a 1969 Firebird Convertible with a Pontiac 400, Muncie (M20) 4-Speed, 10 bolt posi, Power disc brakes and power top, clear title in my name. The frame has been taken off, bead blasted and painted. The floor pans were bead blasted and painted with POR 15. The A-frame bushings, ball joints and frame mounts were replaced. The coil springs in the front and leaf springs in the rear have been replaced. It has a new clutch, pressure plate and flywheel. The 400 motor (nom) has been bored .30 over and has new pistons, rings, Comp cam, lifters, screw in head bolts and was balanced ( I was told it should be good for 350-400 H.P.) I bought this car from a body shop in Utah that patched the floor pan on the passenger side and put two new quarter skins on. The outer wheel wells should have been replaced as they are rusty where it meets the quarter panel. It also comes with the Hurst linkage/shifter, new radiator, new fan shroud. The windshield is missing but all window glass is there. The frame has been bolted up to the body for shipping but nothing has been aligned. Sold as-is where-is no warranty. Ask all questions first before you bid. Inspections are encouraged. I am not an expert so do your research. The buyer is responsible for shipping. I would like the car picked up within two weeks after the end of the auction. The reserve price is set well below what I have in the car. I require a non-refundable $500 deposit payable by Paypal, the rest should be paid in cash. The car is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
