Selling my 1967 Triumph GT6, These cool 2 seater sports cars are getting quite rare. Finding one in this shape these days is getting tough! This car was painted in the 80's so the paint looks much better in the pictures than it actually is. The body is extremely solid with only some minor rust ( surface where paint has flaked off ). The engine starts right up ( always has ) and runs strong, the transmission shifts as it should in all 4 gears, but there is a slight throw out bearing noise ( a new bearing will be given to winner ). I went through and assembled this car about 7 Years ago. At that time it went through a safety check with no problem. I only used it on occasion for 2-3 Years and it has been in storage since. For the most part everything still works as it should, the interior is a bit rough, as is the paint with some surface rust spots, and dings. The passenger door has some large dents which are hard to show in these pictures, but for a show type car will require attention, although still functional as is.Real wire wheel with single lug knock-offs ( these alone are big dollar items ). This is a great 67 GT6 drives like a go kart it is a blast to drive with its 4 inch ground clearance and fully independent suspension. This is not a show car, but would require little to make it one, or convert to an SCCA racer ( it is really too nice for that ! ). I would also like to add I have a 1967 GT6 original sales brochure in near mint condition, and the April 1967 Road and Track magazine ( in near mint condition ) with the 67 Triumph GT6 road test. The new owner will get both of these collectible items with the car. Again, there are not many of these cars of this Year in this condition out there. There are so many enquiries and watchers expecting to bid and win in the final seconds, if you truly want this rare model GT6 make sure to bid your best offer !
