1970 Honda CT

Time to sell my Honda. I've replaced this one with a CBR230. About 4 years ago I rebuilt this one using the 110 cc Lifan engine with electric start and auto clutch. This has been a really good running trouble free engine. The rebuild was ground up, complete disassembly of the bike with each part rebuilt or replaced. I've put about 1600 miles on the bike since then. Bike still runs really smooth with no smoke, and everything works but the electric starter. Worked last summer, but I just installed a new sealed battery and it still doesn't work. It normally starts on the first kick. Bike is a 12v system with electronic ignition, turn signals, and good headlight. The chrome rack was pitted and has been painted silver. Tires are in great shape as is everything else on the bike. Tranny is a 4 speed. Also, I ride mostly on the streets, so I installed street sprockets. Top speed is about 50 mph. Bike is for pick up only, u nless buyer arranges the shipping. THE ELECTRIC STARTER IS NOW WORKING FINE. THE MAN INSTALLING THE BATTERY LEFT ONE LEAD OFF THE BATT.
