Here is a 1946 Chevy Truck. My Dad bought this in 1988.He is the second owner.He bought it from the guy that bought it new !! He drove it some then parked it. It is original 6-volt,straight 6 , 216 C.I. We still have the original crank that will also start it.The crank goes through the grille.This truck is a 3/4 ton Chassis. We have a new O.E.M. original stainless steel grille from British Columbia. It has the original drivetrain. I bought a 6-volt battery for it about 5 years ago and had it running. The master cylinder leaks fluid and would need replaced. The gas that is in it I'm sure is stale. The battery does appear to take a charge. Headlights and turnsignals do work. the right rear taillight has a broken lens.The winshield crank does work as well the winshield cranks out. The starter switch is on the floor (original) . The title is clear Ohio title. This would make a cool parade truck or could be made into a modified street rod,rat rod, Pro -Street etc.The drivers door glass is cracked but rolls up and down . the passenger door glass rolls up and down. Looks like there has been body work done on it before.I will add more pics later.Dad has extra drivers and passenger doors an extra hood and a extra winshield frame.A person could sell these parts or keep them for spare parts. I would say with a new master Cylinder,fresh gas,carb needs accelerator pump(dried out)this truck would run and drive. I hope this helps answer some of the questions I have had. There are over 150 watchers on this truck so it seems to show alot of interest. My dad had intentions of pro-streeting it. We have alot of parts that the winner may also have interest in. The winner will have to talk to my Dad on the prices of various items he has purchased over the years.They are not included in this auction. There are Fiberglass running boards and all 4 fiberglass fenders. Coil over Shocks for the rear. A complete Mustang front suspension set-up with new rotors,new calipers,v-8 chevy mounts,crossmember for the tranny,V.D.O. vintage gauges,Tilt Steering column,Custom Ralley Wheels WIDE 15x15's for the rear and 15x7's for the front,they are painted marroon.and several other items.
