HONDA ACCORD TYPE R. RACING CB7. 1990 Honda Accord EX. 2dr. Fully Loaded with sunroof. Black with tan cloth interior. I have owned this car since the mid 90's. It was my wife's car until the engine blew at 217k. About the same time this occurred, the Fast and Furious was just coming out in the theatre. I have always worked on Corvettes, Mustangs, and old Hot Rods, but never a tuner. This is what I created. I bought a wrecked Japanese Prelude with less than 30k miles. I had it shipped from Japan and performed a complete H22A swap. I kept the power steering and the Air Conditioning. I kept it as nice and driveable as I could. The block is stock, but I have a Skunk 2 Intake, MSD ignition, Thermal Exhaust system, etc... Carbon fiber Vader Evo hood. Tons of aftermarket goodies. Short throw shifter. Lowered. 19" tires and wheels. Complete Black Widow Body Kit. I had the body kit molded into the car to give it that sleek clean appearance. You might not notice what that looks like, but when you compare it to another car with a bolt on body kit, you really see how clean a molded body kit looks. $6000.00 paint and body work alone. Projector Head lights, dark real Altezza rear lights. Aftermarket dash kit, bright blue/green face gauges, brushed stainless steel covering. RAZO white gear knob. Chrome floor brace. Custom rear speaker box, amp, and C/D player. Not the best stereo, but I was more into the car than the stereo. I have front and rear sway bars, complete bushing kits, APEXI digital controller (not hooked up), pillar guages, original hood, and an extra set of 17" wheels if the buyer is interested. The car runs absolutely perfect. Runs and sounds great. Cold A/C, great gas mileage. The molded body kit has stress cracked in a couple of places from speed bumps, pot holes etc... The entire project was done approximately 10 years ago, always garage kept, less than 1000 miles since engine swap. Less than 30k on the drivetrain and it shows. This is my personal car that I have kept new and well cared for. This is not a piece of junk, it is not perfect, but it is as good as it gets on a real budget.
