This is a 1966 Ford Mustang GT Convertible. Comes with the A code 289 engine and a automatic transmission. Numbers matching car! Has a clean title. I am told that everything is original except for the carpet wich was originally tan. Vehicle was purchased 3 years ago from a little old lady. Vehicle had been sitting for 15 years. I towed the mustang home and installed new front brakes, cap, rotor, spark plug wires, plugs, radiator and had the carb rebuilt. Engine does start and runs. I have not driven the vehicle more then a few miles due to one of the brake lines has rotted out. Engine runs smooth and shifts smoooth. Vehicle has many rare options. Comes with the GT package, pony interior, atrack radio, factory a/c, power steering, power top, rally pac, remote driver side mirror and front disk brakes. Vehicle needs restoration. Front floor pans are rusted out. Front fenders have rusted out in corners near doors. Frame is solid and has only surface rust. Will need a new top, power top does not opertate and back window is broken. Vehicle comes as is in the pictures except for front fog light grill. The grill was sold and since has been replaced with a regular 1966 grill with pony. This mustang just needs some love and could be a very nice show car or daily driver. Recommend towing vehicle.
