Vehicle Detail
Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over what a retail dealer might ask for the same vehicle by eliminating most of the overhead associated with a retial dealership and letting you name your own price. Before listing a vehicle on ebay, I personally road test it so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based on information gathered during the aforementioned road test. The information contained within this description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic. If you would like to see this vehicle or any vehicle in my inventory before bidding, just ask. I would be happy to arrange a time to meet at my storage facility and let you kick the tires. An administrative fee of $99 will be added to the final bid of each auction. All vehicles are sold "as-is" and "as-traded". Unless specifically stated otherwise, I do not service or recondition any vehicle prior to sale. Any known faults are fully disclosed. Please read the entire description carefully before bidding. After reading this description, you know everything I know. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2005 Cadillac DeVille sedan. This luxury sedan is finished in a jaw dropping white diamond (pearl white that changes color in the sun light) over parchment leather interior and carriage top. I would rate the exterior of this Cadillac in BELOW AVERAGE condition due to the shape of the carriage top. It has clearly seen better days and should be replaced. It doesn't look like a very complicated process (simply cloth glued to some type of reinforcement) but you should probably check with a local upholstery shop to be sure. It was fairly loose so I re-glued it but I'm not sure how long it will last. Other than that, the outside of this Caddy is beautiful. You'd be hard pressed to find a scratch or dent worth talking about. The chrome wheels (missing one center cap I think) look great and have good rubber on them. All of the glass and lenses look to be in tact. I have the $56,000 sticker for this car. A few hundred bucks (I think) to your local upholsterer will make this car look like new! I would rate the inside of this DeVille as AVERAGE. The inside has that distinctive "Cadillac leather" smell from new. The carpets are full and considerably clean for the miles. The leather is still supple and comfortable. Other than a dime sized nick in the drivers seat cushion, the seats show almost no wear that I could see. The center arm rest is broken. It's usable but the latch is broken and there is a divet where your elbow goes. All of the buttons appear to function. This car is equipped with OnStar if you wish to subscribe to their service. There are steering wheel controls for the stereo and climate control...both of which appear to be in good working order. The stereo sounds great. Both seats are power adjusted and there is separate climate controls for the rear passengers. The trunk is clean and spacious. Books come with the car as do two keys and one remote. This is a very comfortable car to drive. I've had the opportunity to drive this car both on the highway and around town and it rules the road anywhere I take it. Mechanically, I would rate this Cadillac as AVERAGE. The powerfull Northstar V8 starts right up and runs smoothly and quietly. Other than a little intermittant noise in the right muffler and a pair of warning lights (airbag and tpms), she seems mechanically sound. The engine makes great power and accellerates this sedan to highway speed effortlessly. She cruises easy and drives nice. The suspension and steering are both tight. The brakes stop the car very well with just a slight bit of pulsation under extremely heavy braking. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. While driving, the car keep a steady temperature. These are great cars that love the open road. The 2000 and newer Northstar engines are a masterpiece. I would drive this car anywhere with confidence. When I bought the car, there was a leak at the heater core which I had repaired. I usually don't run cars through the shop unless I think there may be a condition that would make the car unsafe to drive. I smelled antifreeze and wanted to make sure I could list it with confidence so I had it looked at and fixed. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
