Vehicle Detail
Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Buying your next vehicle from one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over what a retail dealership may ask for a similar vehicle by eliminating most of the overhead associated with a retail dealership and allowing you to name your own price. Before listing a vehicle on ebay, I personally road test each one so that I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based on the findings of my road test. The information contained within this description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic. If you would like to inspect any vehicle before bidding, just ask. I would be happy to arrange a time to meet you at my storate facility so you can kick the tires. An administrative fee of $99 will be added to the final bid of each auction. All vehicles are sold "as-is" and "as-traded". Unless specifically stated otherwise, I do not service or recondition any vehicle prior to sale. Any known faults are fully disclosed. Please read the entire description carefully before bidding. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very clean 1996 Dodge Ram 1500. This example is finished in two tone red and gray, trimmed in the desirable Laramie SLT trim and configured in the Crew Cab with 8' bed layout. This is a very desirable truck. I would rate the exterior condition of this Dodge Ram as ABOVE AVERAGE. Although there are a few small spots of rust, I think you will find that this truck is in better condition than your average 15 year old truck. The paint shines nicely all around. The chrome wheels look good and the tires have plenty of rubber left. There is a dent in the tail gate but it opens and closes as it should. The bed has a sprayed in bed liner to prevent damage and rust. This truck has both a towing hitch and a trailer brake controller. Forgive the mulch in the bed...I'm getting some use out of this truck until I sell it. Check out the photos...she handles 1,000lb of mulch pretty well for a half ton truck. I would rate the interior of this truck as ABOVE AVERAGE also. As you can see, the cabin is very clean. The carpets are clean and full throughout the truck. The seats are in excellent condition front and back and show almost no wear. The center console/arm rest in these trucks is great. In the lowered position, it serves as an arm rest with tons of compartments inside to store nearly anything. In its raised position, it turns this truck into a six passenger vehicle. The power windows, locks and mirrors work as they should. The factory stereo sounds good still. The climate control center is working properly and the air conditioning is ice cold, too. I have about 100 miles on this truck so far and it is very comfortable to drive. Mechanically, this Ram seems to be in good running condition. The Magnum V8 starts right up and runs very well. During the few times I've driven this truck, her road manners are very good. The engine keeps a nice steady temperature and holds good oil pressure. The exhaust sounds pretty throaty. The suspension and steering both feel nice and tight. The brakes stop the truck well and without any pulsation in the pedal. After driving the truck for about 5 hours steady, the check engine light came on. I pulled the code and it said oxygen sensor slow response. I have no idea what that means. Oxygen sensors are fairly cheap if that's the issue. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. It drives down the highway with no issues...nice and strait and easy. With just 119k miles on the clock, this truck is an excellent value. I have always been a Ford guy but I have to admit...Dodge makes a pretty nice truck. I've had several Rams and Dakotas now and I've been pretty happy with all of them. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
