I just sold one of my cars, and ready to sell this one too! I want a clean garage when I get back. 1967 CAMARO I have had this car since 2002, but I have known the car since 1996. My best friend had it restored in 1996. Included in the car restoration was a engine built by Carroll Caudle. You can do a Google search. They also restored the body and interior. It is painted pearl white with gun metal racing stripes, but needs a update or new paint job. It is a bit unique as the stripes actually run through the car on the dash, and the back metal. The car does have rust in the normal spots, and could use updating as most of them could. I replaced the grill to a 67 (it had a 28 grill), the wiring harness, the carburetor, filter, etc to the tune of $3.5K over the past 12 months. I have had it inside the whole time I have owned it. The mechanics: The car is has 350 (8,000 in the engine and transmission built by Carroll Caudle) with turbo 350 transmission, new carb, new wiring harness, ceramic metallic headers, and sounds great. It has drum brakes and no power steering. I do have the power steering pump, lines, and brackets. I have just never installed it. The front suspension could use new control arm bushings. The Interior: Tuck and roll leather. You will be impressed. All the glass is there and the windshield and front metal dash piece was replaced when I bought it. I just replaced the steering wheel and harness. The Body: The paint is from 1996 which makes it a 15 year old paint job. It was a base coat clear coat with pearl. The front half of the car is great. It has one dent on the driver's side quarter, one spot on the roof panel, one additional ding in the passenger quarter. It needs a trunk pan, and the metal piece between the trunk and window. This is the only metal work that should be needed. The parts (aftermarket are around 250). The car is being sold as is, and can be delivered for a fee. I do not mind road trips. I am out of the country now, but will be back soon. Arrangements can be made to pick up the car now. It has a clean title and is already signed and ready to go.
