Vehicle Detail

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over what a retail dealer might ask for a similar vehicle by eliminating most of the overhead associated with a retail dealership and letting you name your own price. Before listing a vehicle on ebay, I personally road test it so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based on the findings of my road test. The information contained within this description is true and correct to the best of my ability based on my road test but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic. If you would like to inspect any vehicle I offer before you bid, just ask. I would be more than happy to arrange a time to meet you at my storage facility so you can kick the tires before you bid. An administrative fee of $99 will be added to the final bid of each auction. All vehicles are sold "as-is" and "as-traded". Unless specifically stated otherwise, I do not service or recondition any vehicle prior to sale. Any known faults are fully disclosed. Please read the entire description carefully before bidding or asking questions. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very clean 1998 Chevrolet Blazer. This good looking LS model appears to be in great condition for its age. I would rate the exterior of this Blazer as ABOVE AVERAGE. The black finish has a great shine from any angle and only shows minimal cracking (common with black GM cars). Expect some wear and tear due to age but there really aren't any eye catching blemishes on the finish of this truck. The wheels are in good condition and the tires have decent tread left on them. All of the glass and lenses appear to be in tact. Someone took great care of this truck and it shows. There are matching AVS window vent guards and bug guard up front and a cool "barbed wire" pin stripe. This one has a tow hitch on the back, too! It's hard to find Blazers that look like this anymore. The interior of this Blazer is also in ABOVE AVERAGE condition. The seats are clean, supportive and show almost no wear. The carpets are full and clean. The headliner is clean and in tact. The door panels are all in tact (these trucks are known for weak door hinges which make the door panel rub the body and become loose). Tight door panels are hard to come by with Blazers. The power windows and locks work as they should. The stereo has been upgraded to a CD system which sounds very good. The climate control panel responds as it should. The a/c does not blow cold. I tried to check the refrigerant but I don't have the right fitting for this vehicle. There is a complete set of owners manuals in the glove box. The 98 and up models have the more desirable lift gate in the rear rather than the two piece gate of the older models. The cargo area is clean and spacious. Mechanically, this Blazer appears to be in good condition. The powerfull 4.3L engine starts right up and runs smoothly. This engine is literally 3/4 of the legendary 5.7L V8. During the times I've driven this vehicle, the engine has held good temperature and good oil pressure. Besides and intermittant air bag light, there were no warning lights on. The power steering pump is a little noisy but it was not low on fluid. Driving this truck is a breeze. She shoots strait down the highway with no pulling or vibrations. The steering wheel is a little to the right when driving strait but, again, there is no pulling. You can let your hands off the wheel and she keeps trucking strait as an arrow. The suspension and steering seem tight for a 150k mile truck. The brakes stop the truck well with no pulsation in the pedal. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts as it should. The 4WD works at the touch of a button just like it should. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
