Rare find to see a Mazda RX3 in this condition. i have owned it for the past 11 years and got it with 143215 miles on it and it has been garaged and covered for the time i had it. The engine had been replaced by Atkins Rotary specialists when it had 126k on the car in Washington State. When i got it i replaced the tires, shocks and struts to make it handle a little better. Orginal tires were 155 size and they are just to small, has orginal spare in trunk and jack and tool bag.. Over the past 11 years i had replaced the alternator, starter, voltage regulator, battery, plugs, plug wires, points, condensor, and the distibutor. I replaced the exhaust with one from Racing Beat and replaced the thermal reactor with a header. Car is quiet like stock but with a little more power. Orginal 4 barrel carborator from mazda and air cleaner. Has all the original timing, emissions specifications and factory stickers on hood, and fenders and door panels. 4 Speed shifts fine even to the 7000 Red Line, has over rev warning buzzer at 6500 RPM. The interior is like new, carpet had been replaced by the prevoius owner, headliner and dome light are perfect, seats look very good, only a couple of small holes on the seams on the drivers seat. Dash board has no cracks All the guages, lights, wipers. heat and even the original AM radio works. The Clock does not work anymore. Stock manual choke works as it should, starts up easily after sitting in the garage all winter. Windows roll up and down as they should. Windshield has a puck in it about 12 inches below rear view mirror in the center of the glass, had it sealed. Car has no rust and was was repainted some time before i got it color code RH, sunrise red, Not a perfect show car paint but looks very good,gets alot attention at car and cruise nights, you will probably have the only one there. Keep in mind it is 36 years old original not restored car and will have a couple of paking lot dings and paint chips. The car is also being sold locally since it is finally summer in Connecticut so i reserve the right to end this auction early at any time. Will be sold with a bill of sale due to Connecticut section 14-166 of the Connecticut General Statutes, a title is not required for any vehicle manufactored prior to 1981, or will be issued. Any DMV forms you need signed from your state will be sent back to you once payment in full is made. Thanks Have both outside mirrors, had to have them fixed and have not got to a glass store, mirror glass has to be removed to install mirror again, don't want to try it myself and break the glass. The only thing the car could use is a oil pan gasket, from not being used much all these years it has dried out and you will get some drips of oil when sitting all winter. Car does not smoke, back fire, runs on regular gas, has working fuel door lock, all door locks work with key, have 2 or 3 sets of keys Don't plan on bidding on this car if you plan on turning it into some Ethnic piece of junk with speakers everywhere, or replacing the interior with some God awful seats or making it jump and bouce along, it is meant for the old school person like Clint Eastwood in Grand Torino. This car has been around to long to be ruined at this age. I do have some spare parts i have accumulated over the years and will put them in the trunk.
