Here is a '39 Ford Coupe that is between those two options that you can drive now and detail to your own desire and timing. This '39 was built based on the 50's style with some modern upgrades. Chassis: Fully boxed frame painted with POR 15, Mustang ll w/11" Disc Brakes, Rack and Pinion Steering, Tubular Crossmember,Chassis Eng. Twin Leaf Springs, 8" Ford Rear-end (2.90 gears) 3" Lowering Blocks. American Torq Thrust 16" Wheels, New Rear Tires-Front at 60% Power: 351 W Ford, Crane Cam, Edelbrock Aluminum Intake w/ Edelbrock Carb, Edelbrock Valve Covers and Air Intake, Summitt Gear Drive, MSD Dist, 4 Speed Tranny w/ B&M Shifter, Headman Headers, 2-1/2" Exhaust w/ Flowmaster mufflers & 14"x4" Echo Can Tips. Aluminum Cross Flow Radiator w/Spal Electric Fan. Body: Steel Body (door handles and all trim removed) Steel Fenders (with '40 headlights and taillights) Steel Runningboards, Glass Trunk Lid w/ Balls Electric Power Opener, Interior Floor & Trunk Floor has been Replaced, Electric Remote Door Opener w/ Bear Claw Latches, Hot Rod Black with Satin Clear, Split Windshield, Tinted Safety Glass, Custom Gas Tank Door, NOS Steel Gas Tank, Recessed License Tag, Functional Cowl Vent, (Note: There are no windshield wipers, but the mounting holes are still there & are plugged so installing will be simple.) Interior: Fat Mat Sound & Heat Insulation (installed on the floor, doors, quarters & trunk), Dolphin Gauges (Speedometer works but is off, needs higher speedo gear), Tilt Wheel, Lecarra Wheel, Alpine CD Stereo (Amplifier mounted in the trunk-not hooked up so I don't know if it works), Balls Electric Power Windows, 8-way Power Seats, Battery Shut-Off Switch, Birch Door & Quarter & Trunk Panels are ready for Upholstery (the old headliner is still intact for a pattern).
