Vehicle Detail

Project 1970 ½ Camaro RS 396 Due to production difficulties with the redesigned 1970 model Camaro, the 1969 model year was extended through December 1969, well beyond the conventional end of model year. When the 1st of the new second generation Camaros started arriving in the showrooms in February of 1970 some people and some dealers called the car a 1970½ Camaro. Officially, Chevrolet never acknowledged the car as a "½". It was a 1970 Camaro. So in summary, a 1970½ Camaro is a 1970, but many fans continue to use the "1970½" nickname. (like me) I’ve owned this Camaro for 8 years. It has been garage kept since I bought it. Real split bumper with the urethane nose. This car originally came with a 350. Motor is a 396 big block. The motor turns over and had it running a couple months ago. Problem is that it is a little tired and should be rebuilt. Low compression on a couple cylinders. The motor is NOT running. Not sure about what model the transmission is Brand new disk rotors on the front with new brake pads. Dual exhaust Interior: Black interior GT steering wheel Brand new black carpet that was just installed Factory, 1970-only low-back seats with headrests B&M shifter with automatic trans Brand new 6x9 speakers New rear speaker deck 10 grand tach on dash Brand new parking brake, brake, and gas pedals Nice headliner Exterior: Bright red paint Fender wells painted black Believe is it a 78-81 hood Three piece rear spoiler Split bumper front-end with urethane nose 10 bolt rear end (not sure of the gears) Solid trunk and floor pans Some surface rust around the driver's side rear quarter and some small spots Frame rails are solid Sport mirrors Weld racing wheels Brand new B.F. Goodrich tires with zero miles on them All four tail lights, front side markers, and rear side markers are nice Clean title Current tag This Camaro has a classic design and well worth the time. Reserve is set at $6,000 Serious buyers only. The car is sold AS-IS with NO WARRANTY buyer pays for shipping. The car has an Oklahoma title. Winning buyer must pay in full payment in 7 days from the end of the auction. Please do not make an offer unless you agree to the terms of this eBay agreement and can complete the transaction. If you have any questions please call (918)520-1582 before 8 pm Central (Eric).
