THE CAR: 1988 FJ62 Toyota Land Cruiser. This is my uncle's car that he has owned since new. The vehicle was bought new in 1988 here in Tucson, Arizona and here it has stayed. CONDITION: This vehicle runs and drives excellent. It has been garaged daily and meticulously cared for. It currently has 181,311 miles on it. It has been serviced at Desert Toyota of Tucson and Precision Toyota. There are 52 separate receipts for maintenance including original owner's manuals. Some of the work that was done over the years is the transmission has been completely rebuilt to as new condition 3 yrs ago by Aamco, a/c system restored to as new, all belts, hoses replaced, regular oil changes at dealership including 4x4 lube and maintenance, all seals checked regularly and replaced as needed, suspension/ball joints inspected and serviced. The 23yr maintenance records are extensive and every aspect of this vehicle has been attended to. The paint is still in great condition. The interior is excellent, minus one 4 inch crack in the vinyl seat bottom of driver's side seat. The dashboard has 4 small thin cracks. The tires have excellent tread. The car has some scratches here and there, small ding or two that are largely unnoticeable. It has never been in an accident and the title is free and clear. As this is a desert vehicle, there are no signs of rust, or other weather damage to the vehicle. PAYMENT: Auction winner must provide down payment within 2 days of auction close. Buyer must pay for vehicle entirely within 7 days of auction end and pick up the vehicle. A certified bank check or cashiers check is the preferred method of payment. Meet at the bank, verify the funds, notarize the title, and drive the car away.
