This truck, with its 19-foot Jerr-Dan aluminum bed and wheel lift, has been thoroughly renovated during the two and a half years I have owned and used it to transport my classic cars. Prior to my purchasing the truck it had had a remanufactured 7.3L Powerstroke engine and automatic transmission by Jasper installed. Since I bought it the truck has been regularly serviced and the following items have been replaced with new components: both front springs, sway bar links, 34-gallon fuel tank, bed skid plates, starter, alternator, two injectors, accelerator pedal assembly, both batteries, tie-down system, and axle track bars. In addition, the truck's interior, including seat covering, headliner and carpet has been replaced, and the hydraulic control system has been serviced. Everything that the truck needed has been done such that it is now fully operational and in very good condition. Receipts showing the work that has been done come with the truck. The air conditioner blows cold, the AM/FM-cassette-CD player works, and all the power options (windows, mirrors, etc.) operate properly. The frame is solid with only surface rust and the bed hydraulics all operate as expected using either of the dual controls. The tires are all in good condition with significant tread remaining. The truck has a toolbox and all straps, J-hooks, tire tie-downs, etc., come with the truck. The flames are vinyl and may be removed if desired. I have driven the truck only 5,000 miles in the past 2 1/2 years and am selling it only because I recently purchased an enclosed trailer in which to transport my classic cars. This truck has a current (as of April 2011) Virginia State Inspection. However, you are encouraged to examine the truck or have someone examine it for you if you are planning to bid. Payment terms require a $500 deposit within 24 hours of the end of the auction and the balance within 7 days of the auction's end.
