Vehicle Detail
1970 Plymouth GTX This car is being relisted due to a non paying bidder. The car now has an engine and trans bolted in. I sold the car on ebay and in the deal I bolted in an engine and trans so the car could be exported out of the country, well after 3 months and no contact from the buyer I am relisting the car. 1970 Plymouth GTX (RS23V0G172xxx) Up for auction is our 1970 V code (6pac) GTX. Look close at the pictures they tell the story about what the car will need. The GTX is very restorable and with be a HIGH dollar car when completed. There were very few GTX 6pac cars built and they are just about impossible to find in any conditon. I have collected most of the parts to put the body back in shape including floor pans, trunk pan, front fenders and trunk lid. The drive train is a mid 60's 440 engine and auto transmission that was running and driving when they were removed and set in . Again this is a project car but is a TRUE GTX 6 PAC car. This car will sell with NO RESERVE. This is how we sell all of our vehicles they are all AS IS WHERE IS. I have had this vehicle for many years and always wanted to restore the car, however I have realized if I have not started the restoration after this long I most likly never will. This car is sold AS IS with NO WARRANTEE of any kind. It is in NON running condition and will need to be transported. Please contact me within 24 hours after the auction ends. A 25% deposit is due 3 days after the auction ends and full payment with in 5 days. The vehicle can stay as long as needed after the payment is made. We DO NOT accept paypal for ANY reason. the transaction will have to be CASH, CASHIERS CHECK,(MAJOR BANK) or WIRE TRANSFER. If you cannot follow these easy rules please do not bid. There are just to many scams going around. Thanks and good luck. This is a V code car with the vin listed above. The numbers on the body match the vin, the title numbers also match the VIN. Again they all match. Second I know that there was no option for A/C in 1970 for cars with a 6 pac, I was in a hurry when I listed the car and forgot to mention the car was modified to run A/C.I was told when I bought the car it was installed by a dealer, I have doubts by the looks of the holes it looks more like a handy man dealer.I may actually still have the 6 pac air cleaner that was modified to run with the compressor. I will try to find it but honestly it may have been thrown out years ago. As for the frame and torsion bars I looked again and they are in real good condition so no major problems there.
