1963 Chevy C-10 short step side, current engine is 250 c.i. st. 6, with a top loader 4 speed manuel trans with granny low gear., 410 "posi." rear axle, For sale is a Chevrolet short bed step side with a spare tire carrier, The 250 c.i. 6 cyl. has probably 25 to 30 thousand miles on it and runs good, but smokes when first started and the oil pressure is low at idle, but I've driven it to Texas from Michigan and back 4 times, and it even got pretty good gas mileage, the trans works fine but has normal wear for a 48 year old truck that originally came off the farm in Texas. You can see by the pictures that it has some rust, I bought the truck in Texas in 1993, I put new rubber floor mat, window felts, door rubber seals, glove box, gas tank cover, arm rests, new mirrors, I completely replaced the wood in the bed with all new rails and stainless steel bolts. Tires are all season radials and are decent, they're mounted on 15 in. steel "wagon" wheels under the hubcaps. Brakes are 4 wheel drum with newer shoes and wheel cylinders, rear drums are new last year, also is the master cylinder, most of the steel brake lines have been replaced as has the front flex hoses. I think the best part of this deal is the 305 C.I. V-8 and auto overdrive trans, I took out of an 82 Camaro, and all the needed parts to make the conversion, motor mounts, brackets, ect., The V-8 radiator is in the truck now. Interior is okay, the seat is out of a late model Ford, the floor is solid. As for the rust, replacement metal is available from almost anywhere, I've been getting my parts from L.M.C. out of Kansas City.
