Vehicle Detail

This auction is for a LOADED 1999 Honda Nighthawk 750. This bike does not look or ride like a stock Nighthawk. It rides smooth and makes a great commuter or small touring bike. Extras include: Front fairing and windscreen Corbin leather seat w/ detachable backrest (best you can get, comfortable for hours on end) Custom billet pegs for driver/passenger (taken off a new Harley) Locking hard saddle bags Carbon finish LED turn signals Carbon finish mirrors 12v power outlet (I used it for charging my pone and GPS) Fog lights 4 into 1 exhaust Custom black painting for "blacked out" look Soft rubber grips New plugs and wires (less than 1k miles) Gas tank and plastics replaced in 2006 8-ball trim pieces Also included in the auction are: Two brand new never mounted tires (still wrapped in cardboard, see pic) Motorcycle cover 2 keys for the tank, 2 keys for the saddlebags, and 1 key and 1 Honda blank for the ignition (if I get time I'll go get the blank cut so you have 2 ignition keys) Gasket set. I got a good deal on a complete engine gasket set a few years ago. I used the exhaust rings and the stator cover. The rest can go with the bike. I also have an extra starter and alternator which I took off another Nighthawk. I've never needed them, but they're yours if you want them. If not I'll just sell them. The bad: the bike was dropped a few years ago at 5mph. The only damage is a scrape on the tail piece by the shock (hidden mostly by the saddle bags) and a scrape and crack on the aftermarket front fairing. I patched the crack so it it solid. Saddlebags, mirrors, etc. were put on after the drop so they have no damage. However, the saddlebags aren't top of the line (bought on eBay) so the paint on the left saddlebag is chipping. Not very noticeable since the plastic underneath is black. I have put pictures of everything I can think of on this bike. Please take the time and look at them closely. E-mail me with any questions and I will answer promptly. Overall this is a great commuter bike. Do some research and you'll find out these motors run forever and need very little maintenance. Basically just change the oil. The valves are self adjusting. I've loved this bike, but I haven't had time to ride. Bike has only been ridden a few times this last year due to my school schedule. And I live a whopping two blocks away, so I have no need for a commuter anymore. Don't worry though, despite not being ridden much I just rode it 100+ miles from Waco last week so I could sell it here in Fort Worth. Gets 50+ mpg all day. If you want to see the bike run you can. You can take it for a ride if you show up with $2500 cash, the starting bid, and a class M license. If you don't have both then I'll ride it around or you can hop on the back. I just need to know the day before you plan to come look so I can be there or make arrangements to have someone there. If I think of anything else then I'll add it. If I find anything else for the bike I'll throw it in too. If you really want riding gear you can have my old gloves and helmet, but I doubt you'd want them. They've seen a lot of miles!! I have 100% feedback and I have sold big ticket items on eBay before. Please only bid if you're serious. Good luck and good riding!! Quick update: I had the bike inspected today, so you're good until June 2012. Bike ran and rode great! Odometer now reads 36,345.
