Vehicle Detail
Hello and thanks for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over what a retail dealer might ask for a similar vehicle by eliminating most of the overhead associated with a retail dealership and letting you name your own price. Before listing a vehicle on ebay, I personally road test it so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based on the findings of my road test. The information contained within this description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic. If you would like to view this or any vehicle in my inventory before bidding, just ask. I would be happy to arrange a time for you to meet me at my warehouse so that you can kick the tires. An administrative fee of $99 will be added to the final price of each auction. All vehicles are sold "as-is" and "as-traded". Unless specifically stated otherwise, I do not service or inspect any vehicle prior to sale. Any known faults are fully disclosed. Please read the entire description carefully before bidding or asking questions. Once you read the description, you basically know everything I know about it. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1995 Volvo 960 Wagon. The 900 series, and subsequent S90, were the flagship of Volvo's line and the last of the rear drive Volvo's. This example is finished in a blue-ish green with tan leather interior. The exterior of this Volvo looks good over all. I would rate the exterior as AVERAGE. There are two spots on the hood where the clear coat is peeling off which is a common Volvo thing. Other than that, this is a great looking car. The alloy wheels give the car a nice look and the tires have plenty of tread. Both parking light lenses are missing (brand new parking lights can be had here on ebay for about $35/ea). All of the other lenses and glass is in tact. There is typicall wear as you would expect on an older car but nothing really worth mentioning. There are great cars are the last of their breed. They have tons of room and are built like tanks. The interior of this Volvo is AVERAGE. Other than two torn seams on the drivers seat cushion, the leather seats are in great condition. As with most 960's, the leather on the top of the door panels are pulling back a little. The carpets are full and clean throughout. The headliner is clean and in tact. Both front seats are power operated and heated for comfort. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work as they should. The factory premium sound system sounds great. It looks like there is a dock for a satalite radio unit (unsure which brand). The climate control center operates properly. The air conditioning does not blow cold. The compressor DOES turn on then off so the compressor works. It may be low on refrigerant. This is a great car to drive. I've put close to 100 miles on it so far. There is an integrated booster seat in the center of the rear seat. Pride in ownership shows in this car. It comes with three keys and a complete set of owners books with most service records filled in. The original window sticker is also included! Mechanically, this 960 seems to be in good running condition. The silky smooth strait six starts right up and runs very well. I did not notice any leaks from this vehicle. I've put close to 100 miles on this wagon over the last few days. During the several times I've driven her, she drives very well. Accelleration is effortless thanks to the 181hp engine's nice power band. At highway speeds, this Volvo gobbles up the road like it was born to. There are no vibrations or pulling and 80 mph cruising is a breeze. The suspension and steering all feel nice and tight. The brakes stop the car very well and show no pulsation or pulling. The fuel gauge may not be accurate. It read fulls but I was able to put just over 10 gallons in it when I drove it last. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts as it should with no issues. The timing belt was done at 108,000 miles so its major service is up to date. I would hop in and drive this car anywhere. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
