This car has traveled only 73,000 miles and been owned by the same owner for the past 25 years. The car truly is the definition of a survivor being 100% completely original except for one repaint years ago. The body on the car is straight as an arrow and the Burgundy Firemist paint has been buffed to a smooth as glass shine. The paint job is a good driver quality repaint done about 15 years ago in a correct lacquer type paint. It has its share of small touchups and a few thin spots on body lines, but overall looks fantastic. All glass is ORIGINAL and crack and chip free The rubber seals are all in excellent original condition and are still very soft and pliable. The vinyl top is original and in excellent crack free condition. The chrome and trim is all original and in good driver condition with a few scuffs and dings. The classic fins are really at their best in '64 and the car looks like its ready to take flight! The interior is the highlight of this Cadillac. The interior is 100% all original and looks fantastic. This interior has not been touched up or piece repaired what so ever, and is a true time capsule. The original red leather seats and door panels are in very good condition and look awesome. The seats do not have a single tare or ware spot and have only a few crease lines on both sides of the front seat leather trim. The foam is also still very soft, unlike some other original interiors. The door panels are all in very nice condition and the wood veneers are in great shape and are not dried out or de-laminating at all. The dash is in great shape and the original red paint, chrome and stainless trim still retain a brilliant shine. The dash pad does have a crack which is pictured. The steering wheel compliments the interior and is beautiful and crack free with a super nice horn button. The original headliner and visors are perfect. Turn signals, lights, gauges, and all other switches are working correctly, even the original AM/FM radio works and sounds great! The trunk is also in very nice original condition. There are a few stains, but no rips or other damage. All tools are present and in nice original condition. The full size spare and cover is also in great shape. All original cardboard panels are present. The underside of the trunk lid is nice and has the insulation as well as the jacking instructions. Mechanically, this Cadillac runs GREAT! The car starts right up and shifts smooth as silk. It really does not feel like a 43yr old car. It drives as good now as the day it rolled of the lot. The 429 V8 is very strong and supplies the car with ample power. The cooling system is great and the car runs cool and idles well. The brakes have been gone through and a new master cylinder was installed. The A/C was fully checked and was just fully charged. A brand new full stock exhaust system was also just installed. A full tune up was also done at that time with new hoses, belts, plugs, wires, rotor, and cap installed as well as new valve cover gaskets.
