I have my 1995 Honda Shadow VT600C (600cc) bike for sale with the original 14,440 miles. I purchased this bike in May of 1997 and am the second owner. It was manufactured in Japan and has a steel frame. The bike is a V-Twin with dual spark plugs per cylinder for a very smooth firing operation. This type of bike while small as far as engine displacement goes, is surprisingly powerful (I believe the horsepower in these Japanese bikes are greatly underrated). For engine longevity and strenuous summertime conditions, this bike left the factory with not only liquid cooling via a radiator, but also employs a thermostatically controlled cooling fan to keep the motor temps in check. I have the clean title in hand. No accidents, not a wreck, not a salvage, no junk. Just a nice motorcycle that at this point in my life I cannot use nearly enough. Mechanical: The bike is incredibly solid and ready to be driven. THE BIKE HAS NEVER BEEN LAID DOWN OR DROPPED. There are absolutely no problems operationally to report about this bike. The bike starts well, runs well and drives well. With proper maintenance and care, this bike would last a long time. The bike very recently had some major maintenance performed by a Honda dealer. The work consisted of a filter and oil change, tune-up and even a coolant flush and fill. The carburetors were also rebuilt at the same time. Engine /Performance: The bike is pretty stock except for a few minor performance enhancements. The bike has a stage 1 jet kit to match an aftermarket (Jardine) exhaust system. Upgrades: Wind fairing with reddish tint added at bottom which surprisingly matches the color of the bike perfectly. Also, there is a visor over the main headlamp. The bike has aftermarket billet handgrips and billet mirrors. There is a driving light kit(2 additional lights) installed that accompanies the main headlamp. There are Willie & Max saddlebags and chrome saddlebag supports for storage. Cosmetic Condition: Overall, the bike is in good condition for a 16+ year old bike. The gas tank most recently has some of the protective clear coat over the paint peeling away nearest the gas filler neck. There are also some light scratches on the left side of the tank that are minor. I have to say the tank condition rating from 1-10 as far as paint goes is probably about a 6 (in other words, you may want to re-clear coat the tank). The “Shadow” logo that originally branded the tank I removed years ago when I had the tank professionally painted the original color. The chrome rims on the bike do have some rusting but not pitting. The chrome would look much better if it just had an individual go over it with a nice chrome cleaner and some TLC. The tires have ample tread left but have minor sidewall cracking due to time. I did replace the tires some years ago and had the original equipment Honda tires installed at that time. We have tried very hard to communicate the overall condition of this motorcycle so that way there are no disappointments. I've updated the pictures to reflect the current condition. Rims and other chrome areas on the bike do not show any signs of pitting whatsoever. Also included a new pic of the driving lights and head lamp lit up and a close-up of the tires. The bike looks so good now I might not want to get rid of it (Just Kidding)!!
