Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a well cared example of a Glacier Blue 1992 BMW 525i Wagon with 207,235 miles on the clock. We have an extensive list of service records for the car and it was maintained by an independent mechanic who specializes in European cars. This car is mechanically sound with the transmission shifting smoothly and engine pulling strong. There are a total of 4 keys to the car, one valet and 3 master keys. The original manual, window sticker, and even the promotional cassette are still accounted for. The car had an original sticker price of $40,175 back in the day. The only option ordered was leather seats, but keep in mind that it came with a myriad of standard equipment such as power seats (which still work), dual panel sunroof, alloy wheels, and a 4 speed automatic transmission. There is a full set of original BMW tools in the back (they usually get lost) and the back tires have about 80% tread left while the fronts have about 30% remaining. It has had three owners in its lifetime, with the previous owner buying it at 130k in 2004 and keeping it until a week ago when they traded it in for a newer vehicle. Overall this car would be perfect for a restoration because it has a good history and there are only minor things to be fixed. Please Call Nikita at 508-353-8857 if you have any questions. The car is listed with NO RESERVE. There are a couple of downsides with a car of this age such as a sagging headliner (common issue), the sunroof doesn’t work, and there is an exhaust leak of some sort. Even with these slight issues, the car is still very drivable. Please see the youtube we put together for a virtual test drive: Cosmetically it is in decent shape, mechanically it is in very good shape for the age. We are selling no reserve, but if you bid, you must close your deal. The car is in good enough condition to drive home even if home is California... http://www.youtube.com/user/Imotobankllc#p/u/5/XxHVYcbIrSw
