1988 Ford Mustang 5.0 Coupe 5 speed. Newer paint in good shape with a few dings and scratches. No bondo or rust. It has been in the south its whole life so its rust free. The interior is in great shape. It could use a light cleaning but the map light works, the drivers seat doesnt have the usual hole in the side bolster and even the ash tray door works. The torque boxes look great. They aren't ripped like a lot of mustangs. Car is pretty much a stocker. Even has the stock air box and silencer. It has newer exhaust including equal length shorty headers, h-pipe, dynomax mufflers and flowmaster polished stainless steel pipes. It has the newer t-5 that has a higher torque rating that came out of a low mileage car. It has a new clutch, new flywheel from napa, new pressure plate, new throw out bearing, and new rear main seal. It has a gear in the rear 3.73 i believe. It has the gear in the tranny replaced so the speedo isnt off. It has a new speedo cable. Brand new Goodyear high performance tires. $125 a piece. Has new door seals. Has a new pioneer cd player with new speakers. Has new brakes. A/C works great as does the heat, cruise, power locks, and power windows. Has new door lock actuators. New headlights. Has tilt wheel. Car runs great with no smoke. Has new fuel injectors. Its not a show car but it looks good. Nothing major. I would say the paint is a 7 out of 10. OK for a daily driver but not show. Car would make a great daily driver or a good foundation for some mods. The things the car could use, and I'm being picky here. It could use new rear end bushings. It still has the factory rubber ones and since it is 25 years old they are getting a little loose. Very cheap fix, less than $80 and it doesn't have to have them. I am just being picky. The car runs very strong with no smoke. The tranny shifts smooth. Everything works, even the trunk popper. Email me with any questions. It doesnt show it in the picture but I do have a new intake plate/cover. It is polished and new. I was told the engine had been re-ringed (because it didnt need bored) with new bearings. The speedo cluster was changed so im unsure of exact mileage but it has over 100,000 on the body. Less on the things I mentioned. I will add more as I think of it.
