1966 Mustang coupe, 289 c code, c4 trans, factory ac car(missing compressor),has a factory date code correct 4 barrel intake and a brand new holley 4 barrel carb.In the last two months I have put a new timing chain, water pump,carb, new hi-po valve covers and installed a pertronix in the distributor. Car runs great, has a newer dual exhaust with dynomax mufflers. Sound nice but not too load going down the road. I would drive this car anywhere. Car tracks straight and true and has a nice set of good year tires on it.Cruises down the highway with no problem and believe it or not it isnt too bad on gas. Drum bracks, non power and no power steering.The car is not restored, it looks to have been repainted once and the vynal top was remove at some time and the roof painted black. The car is painted the origonal Vintage Burgandy. It does have some scrathes and a few dings. A little rust in the lower quarters( I have new patches) and some bubbling in the lower front fenders. The interior is all original with no rips or tears in the upholstery or the head liner. Carpet is worn under the front drivers floor mat but the mat covers it. The frame rails,shock towers and trunk are all in great shape, the pans are nice but does have a small spot on the passenger side toe board that looks like something hit it and started a small rust hole, does not require a floor replacement. The only issues I can really think of is the front end has a squeek in it when you hit a bump and the trans works fine but does have a small high rev when shifting into 3rd, was told to change the modulator but to be honest its not much of an issue to me. It has a clear Florida title. I dont really want to get rid of it but I just bought a new Jeep and my wife really wants me to sell the car to pay off some other things to help of set the payment of the jeep...............
