For sale is a Silver 2001 Mercury Sable Duratec LS with the 6- cylinder 3.0 Duratec 24 valve OHC engine. This four door, 5 seats with middle console, fully loaded automatic vehicle that is equipped with power steering, power brakes, power adjustable brake pedal, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, power trunk, remote keyless entry, alarm system, Factory Power Sunroof, Electronic Climate controls, Leather Seats, dual airbags, tilt, cruise control, factory AM/FM stereo cassette w/ 6 disc cd player in trunk. Sliding sun roof. You can come before sale to my house to view car. My work hours are 11am-7pm daily but even if I'm not home you can come check it out. 1 key with 1 remote Runs good. I have been using this to drive highway miles to work and back. No leaks. Powerful. A/C works. Good Tires. Heat works. Front brakes replaced at 100,000k. A/c compressor replaced at 90k. Major tune up 100,000k. No engine lights on and always passes inspection. Current NJ inspection sticker good untill 11/2012. Clean title in hand The paint is pretty good with some light scratches. Overall the body is in good shape. Interior is in good shape. The car is clean not dirty as I do wash this and vacuum often. Problems. Driver side power seat does not slide forward or back without using force. The motor works but seat doesn't move forward or back unless using manual assistance such as pull or push. You can get it and leave it in your proper driving position. Power seat tilts up and down. I'm sure a motor can be replaced very easily. Steering seems tight, straight and nice but there is a slight clunking in front maybe needs shocks? There is a crack in the front fender as denoted in the picture near the wheel base-barely visable and the passenger side mirror has been glued on (glue visible) power mirrors work. None of these problems affect driving at all. Small chip in windshield the size of a pea that has been filled with epoxy years ago to prevent spreading. This car is road ready and can be drivin right off my property. I really do not want to sell this car but need the money. I know I could get plenty of years and milage out of this vehicle. I have owned this vehicle since 32K bought from dealer. I have been very descriptive with everything as best as possible. A $300.00 non refundable deposit should be made on this car within 48 hours of purchase.
