1971 Triumph Bonneville

1971 Triumph Bonneville. Oil in Frame, unit construction motor. Bike has not been run for four years, but motor kicks over easily and appears to have good compression. No title, but easy to register in NYC and elsewhere with just a bill of sale. This is a pre-title bike, your registration is your title (where most registrations read; NON-TRANSFERABLE, the one for this bike would read; TRANSFERABLE). What it has: All tin with original gold paint (some rust, some touch-ups for photos, rear fender has 5" crack - see photo). Tires, new when put in storage. Original Amal carbs in good shape. New gaskets when put in storage. Custom handgrips. Rare aluminum accessory heat sinks on exhaust headers. What it's missing: Battery, turn signals, gas tank mounting washer, bolt and rubber, left side-cover, air box, and no speedometer. Buyer is responsible for shipping, local pick-up in NYC preferred.
