Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a beautiful 1971 CB750 K1 Cafe Racer. I'm leaving the country for work and must sell the bike as soon as possible. This is a 98% complete cafe racer project and with a weekends work will be ready to go. This is not a beat up barn bike with the term "Cafe Racer" applied, this is a 1971 CB750 Cafe Racer in the truest sense. The first real superbike, this motorcycle is redhot and ready to move. Here is a video from 5/25/2011 of the bike running, I had a pro tuner come over to do some carb work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_iAJH0g5RY Some of the details and work done on the bike include: Custom fiberglass Cafe Racer style rear seat with integrated rear light. Custom hand crafted tank with knee dents (the tank is different from the tank on the bike now and just needs to be painted. See picture) New Clubman bars Rebuilt carb with all new gaskets etc. New tires, already installed New battery New spark plugs New starter kill switch NOS Airbox New Airbox filter New Airbox boots New oil filter Re-tuned throttle Re-wired 4-into-1 exhaust New Chain K&N Pod Filters if you like that look New sprocket set included rebuilt petcock New tail lights New mirrors New gauge covers Include fork gaiters New engine bolt kit New fiberglass side covers To the best of my knowledge the bike needs the following, new solenoid ($40), rear brake lever assembly remounted and that is it. I will include a large amount of stock parts if you prefer to bring the bike back to stock. This is a great chance to own an amazing bike priced to move. The price when I bought it was $4500, I have put $1000 of parts and professional mechanical work into the bike. That's a total of $5500. I have literally set the reserve at thousands below this price. Happy bidding and please contact me if you have any questions!s!On May-30-11 at 12:53:19 PDT, seller added the following information:To answer some questions from another bidder my reserve price is $2300.
