Here we have, up for bid, this excellent running and driving F-250 4x4 Ex cab pickup. It is being sold at NO RESERVE. The air conditioning blows ice cold, and the heater will roast you out of the cab. It is equipped with the 7.5 gas engine and an automatic overdrive transmission. The engine fires right up and runs excellent. No drips, knocks, pings, clatter, etc. Holds good oil pressure. This truck has tons of towing power. The 4x4 works and the transmission shifts excellent and crisply as well. Both fuel tanks switch from the dash and the fuel gauges operate. So is this truck showroom perfect? of course not. As nice as this truck is, it still isn't new. The truck has 175000 miles. It's also 17 years old. There are all the dings, dents, and scratches on the truck consistent with a used farm pickup of it's age and mileage. (But again, you're also not spending like a new $50K truck either). Please look at the pictures. They show the cosmetic flaws up close. (2) Things that I noticed that aren't perfect are: The power door lock switch only works from the passenger door. The exhaust system has a very slight leak on the passenger side that goes completely away after only a few minutes of the engine warming up. The photos show a few small rust spots on the drivers side. Overall, I think it looks better than most 1994 work trucks you will find out there. As far as I can tell, it's never even had any bodywork done, meaning never wrecked. The 4 tires look nearly new to me and they are LT265/75R16 "E" range load. (10 ply rated). The brakes feel excellent and stop on a dime. There is no evidence that this truck has ever been used to plow snow. All in all, this is one nice, heavy duty truck that is going to be a bargain for someone. As you can imagine, with any used vehicle, it is nearly impossible to cover every last square inch in detail with this brief description. There are many different companies that specialize in doing nothing but that. They generally charge between $100-$175 and may truly be a bargain to give you piece of mind and any info you may need. The vehicle will be made available for inspection by appointment. If you decide to forego the inspection offered, there really is no reason you should be unhappy about anything after the auction has ended. Most vehicles are generally purchased by us at dealer only auctions for the sole purpose of resale. We sell these vehicles at FAR below any dealer retail prices. This gives you room for any additional repairs that you see fit. They have not undergone ANY type of inspections/ or tests for ANYTHING. This includes emmissions and safety inspections. Titles: All vehicles that we purchase and offer for resale have clear Title. We do NOT knowingly deal in any vehicles with salvage title histories, period. The State of Colorado, along with many other states, automatically exempt the recorded mileage on the title for any vehicle over ten years old, and over 100,000 miles. Therefore, on these vehicles, the titles will simply be "exempted miles" and have a "0" indicated for odometer reading. That doesn't indicate that the mileage is unknown, or that it has been tampered with, it simply means they (The State), are no longer keeping track of mileage after that.
