Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Before listing a vehicle on ebay, I personally drive it so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based completely on my real world road test of this vehicle. The information contained within this description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed per the scope of my road test and the fact that I am not a professional mechanic. Please read the entire description carefully before bidding or asking questions. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is an exceptionally nice 1996 Chrysler Town & Country LXi. This gorgeous example is finished in plum with two tone grey leather interior. This well cared for van is absolutely loaded with features and options. As you can clearly see, this is a beautiful van. I would rate the exterior of this van as ABOVE AVERAGE. It's plum color has a mile deep shine from any angle. This is one of the cleanest vans I've had in a while. This van only has a rust spot about the size of a quarter at the right rear fender. These vans usually rust pretty heavily so finding one like this is pretty uncommon. There is a small dent on the rear hatch which is barely noticable (I doubt you will even see it in the photo). This top of the line van looks great and is complimented by a nice set of alloy wheels. The tires have about half tread left +/-. All of the glass and lenses look to be in tact. Just look at the photos... I would rate the interior of this Town & Country as EXCELLENT. The optional two tone leather seats are in excellent condition throughout the cabin and show absolutely no wear. The carpets and headliner are also clean throughout this van. The two front seats are power operated. The power windows, locks, mirrors and vents are also in good working order. This van also has two integrated booster seats in the middle row of seats. This van has front and rear air conditioning and heat. The climate control is in perfect working order and the A/C will make your eyes water, even on a 90 degree day! The stereo is the factory Infinity Premium sound system with CD which sounds excellent. Pride in ownership shows throughout this van. The original owners manuals are still in the glove box. It comes with two keys and one remote which works perfectly. This long wheel base van has a good amount of room behind the rear seat as opposed to the short wheel base version. Dual sliding doors make access easy for everyone. There is even a "no smoking" sign in the ash tray location! There are cup holders and storage compartments everywhere. These are great vans when you get one as well cared for as this looks to be. Mechanically, I would say this Town & Country is in great condition. The premium 3.8L engine starts right up and runs smoothly and quietly. I saw no evidence of any leaks and this van does not smoke. During my road test, the engine held perfect operating temperature and there were no warning lights on. The suspension feels good. On very bad roads you can feel it has some play in the front but it feels great under normal conditions. The steering is tight and responsive. The brakes stop the van very well and show no pulsation or noise. The big V6 rockets this van to highway speeds easily. On the highway, she drives strait as an arrow. There is a very, very minor vibration in the wheel when you're going about 70 but it's minor at worst. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts like it should. The transmission does not slip. I don't know if you'll be able to tell but the engine in this van is ridiculously clean. I'm not talking about gobs of ArmourAll on the hoses and plastic but the actual engine! The engine itself is so clean...I would seriously lick the cylinder head! I have never seen an engine this clean. With proper service, these are easily 200-300k mile vans. Ones this nice don't come around often. This one looks better than many 06's I see. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
