Vehicle Detail

I'll get the important details out of the way since some people are having trouble with the fine print: Zero feedback, and bidders who have not purchased anything in 90 days will need to contact me prior to bidding over the phone, otherwise your bid will be canceled, and or blocked. Payment is due in 7 days, otherwise an unpaid bidder case will be filed against you for non-payment. The car needs to be picked-up 7 days after payment has Completely Cleared my bank, which is about 1-3 Days on Wire transfer and 1-2 Weeks for a Cashiers Check. After 7 days, storage will be $20.00 A Day. If you need any exceptions to these rules you will have to clear that with me before bidding, otherwise these rules apply and by bidding on this auction You are agreeing to these terms. 1969 AMC AMX 390 Go-Pack Manual Transmission with 24,596 original miles. I purchased this car a few years ago and the nephew of the original owner swore the car had 24K original miles on it. His Uncle was a Merchant Marine and was away at sea for months at a time and drove the car sparingly. He didn't have any documentation and people tell me lots of stories, but After closely inspecting the car inside and out, I would agree with the seller. AMX's tend to have the tell-tale sign of stress cracks on the under-side of the hood where the hoods rests on the hood bumpers. This Hood is Un-Cracked. The paint appears to be original and untouched, although it is not concourse perfect it shows a nice patina for factory original 40 year old paint. The wiring harness in the trunk pan still has the OEM tag on it. The speedometer gauges are very clean and bright. The carpet is original factory weave and the car is very stock from carb, space saver, air filter tube, radio and other OEM parts that are normally missing from other AMX's that you might have seen over the years. Most of these cars have been molested and modified. This car is extremely stock and has been well cared for. This is a very nicely optioned AMX with 390 cubic inch motor, 4-Speed manual trans, Center Arm Rest, Go-Pack options (disc brakes, twin grip rear end, torque links), Bitter-Sweet Orange exterior paint and Tan leather interior. This is one of my favorite color combo's and I really like the way the Bitter-Sweet orange looks at night. The car runs, drives, and starts. Although the car is very original, some parts are showing their age like the carpet and seats. The chassis is Extremely solid with little to no rust (one small pin hole on the front and rear window). The frame rails, floor-boards, rear window valence, trunk pan are extremely solid. This is a wonderful example of a rare car, in an even rarer condition. I am getting out of the hobby and selling off my AMC's. This car deserves a good home and would make a fine addition to anyone's car collection. The car is registered in my name, and the California title is free and clear with California License plates and current registration. Please ask if you have any questions, check my feed-back, and check my other auctions for other AMC's cars and parts that I am selling. Thank You
