Vehicle Detail
1995 Camaro Z28 LT1 with Procharger supercharger and Intercooler, boost set at 8psi. I will honestly tell all I know about this car, and tell all I know that is wrong with it. It is not perfect so please read carefully, I do not want any misunderstanding or disappointments. It is a very nice and clean low mileage car(83,000) It is a 6 speed car with T-tops, Keyless entry, Cold AC, power drivers seat, Delco-Bose am fm CD player. I bought it off ebay about 10 months ago, it came from Colorado and was garaged most of its life, and it shows. Not a speck of rust anywhere, body is straight except for 2 scratches on right rear quarter (see pic) the top scratch has a very slight crease. Overall the car looks very clean, wheels are nice and shiny, paint looks good, Interior clean, does have a few minor scratches here and there, but still gets attention, and a few thumbs up, mostly from the cool Procharger whine. The interior is very clean, no tears in upholstery, even the T top headliner and the dash are nice, kinda rare. It has had a lot of money invested in it, in addition to the supercharger, it has MSD ignition, BBK 58mm throttle body, Dynomax complete performance exhaust system, including headers. It has Hotchkiss suspension, a TA differential girdle cover with 3.73 posi. A pillar gauge pod with Fuel pressure and boost gauge, and Air Fuel gauge in dash below radio. I was told it has roller rockers and cam installed but I can not verify it. Now I will be honest and tell what I was not told before I bought it. The car runs and drives good, you should be able to drive it home, and yes, it runs like a scalded ape! but it does have a problem. According to an expert, it has a crushed ring land causing weak compression on one cylinder. It does not smoke from the exhaust, the only real sign are blow-by from the valve cover. I understand this is a common problem with forced induction and using stock cast pistons. I was just going to pull the heads and oil pan and install a set of forged pistons, I even bought a used set off ebay for $170 but never got them (you can see them in my recent feedback). I recently became disabled and I do not know when and if I can fix it, so I will sell the car at no reserve and start the bidding at what a used supercharger set up is worth, minus the car. The Procharger kits alone are around 5k new. If you are mechanically inclined this is the ultimate project car. The Procharger mounts low so it is not in the way of the heads when they are removed. Also it has a slow passenger window motor and the console lid hinge is broken. The right side Z28 emblem is broken, but it will come with a full set of red decals. That is all that I know the car needs, please email if you have any questions or if you need any pics. I had it shipped to me, so if you need it shipped to you I will be happy to work with your carrier, or you can drive it home. I request a $200 deposit within 48 hours, and the balance within 7 days of auction closing. Bid with confidence, this is a nice clean fast car that I believe will sell cheap, but my loss is your gain, good luck!
