1971 Chevy 2 wheel drive Suburban Listed is our 1971 suburban. The vehicle runs and drives great down the interstate or around town. Actually one of the nicest driving lowered trucks I have ever owned. I had this truck listed last fall and had a person contact me 3 weeks after it ended. Well needless to say I never sold him the truck. The biggest reason being I list ALL my vehicles with NO RESERVE and a lot of times I end up losing a lot of money. (I am sure some people can relate) Well if the terms are met I will ALWAYS sell the vehicle no matter how much I lose but I won't take a bath and have a rude person argue the terms of the auction. Again I am SURE everyone that sells on Ebay knows what I am saying. With that out of the way, I will be happy to workout any special needs if we can agree before the auction ends. Please look over the pictures very close. It was a very sunny, bright day and the pictures are a little hard to see the paint. I would say the paint looks better in the pictures but the trucks condition is a lot better in person than what it apears in the pictures. The Suburban came from southern California and is pretty much a rust free truck. The truck was lowered prior to me owning it. The frame was notched and it was lowered right, in my opinion. If you have any doubt you wont after you drive it. The door handles were shaved and I reinstalled the front ones. The interior is ok but could use some help if you desire. I don't mind as I drive the vehicle a few times a week to and from work. The Suburban has a 3600 watt stereo system that is a little extreme for the ordinary person. I am about 60% deaf so it sounds fine to me.(I really am) Actually I hardly ever turn the thing on. I can answer the first question by saying I will NOT discount the truck by removing the system. I have no desire to try and sell the equipment. I was told it was around $3200 for all the amps, speakers ect. AGAIN I will not remove as I have no idea on what to disconnect. The SUBURBAN is sitting on 20" wheels has a 350 engine with an automatic trans and I would not be affraid to drive the unit anywhere and would for the right price. Thanks for looking and good luck. On May-24-11 at 23:23:11 PDT, seller added the following information: A couple small things I forgot to add, as you can see it has all the factory guages with the factory tach (that work) I think this is real cool and probably pretty rare. Also has titlt wheel, new carpet, dash pad,new mirrors and dumby spots. I think it is areal neat look. Also when I intalled the carpet I moved the front seat back almost 6 inches you really cannot tell by looking but it sure makes it more comfortable to drive. It still left more than enough rear leg room. (really) The windows are tinted with 5%Limo tint and should really be dark but really does not seem to be all that dark and you will have NO visibilty problems. It gives it a real classy look. again this is one thing that does not show up in the pictures very good. It is hard to see how straight the body is by the pictures. This truck is very straight with just a few dents here and there, I really think the truck is wearing most of the original paint with exeption around the doors where the door handles were repaired.and along the bottom it was touched up when I detailed it last year. It was not to repair rust it was pretty chipped up from gravel roads over the years. AGAIN this is about as much a rust free truck as you will find. The terms I talked about earlier was I would like a 25% deposit sent out via MAIL or wire transfer Please I do NOT take paypal for ANY REASON. I have heard horror stories from sellers and the fees are to high. I would like the balance within 7-10 days as you can see I am pretty flexable. The vehicle can stay here as long as needed as long as it iis paid for (via terms of auction) I have plenty of secure storage spaceThanks again
