VIDEO, DYNO SHEETS, scans of the CLEAN CLEAR TITLE, and estimates for paint / body will all be in this auction! Introduction: I am to work overseas again, so i am selling my 68 camaro 383 stroker SS clone. original was a 327 with 2 spd powerglide. NO RESERVE, NO BULL i gotta go back to afghanistan, i have too much stuff and nowhere to keep it all! ALL CALIFORNIA CAR, NO RUST (see pic touch around trunk seal). Trust Sixties Iron 100% positive feedback over 10 yrs! The California CHP highway patrol VIN verification officer in Mojave, CA (Officer Gore) has certified the VIN on this car and verified it's CLEAN, CLEAR title (see details below). car has new VIN tag with ORIGINAL VIN, and i hold CLEAR, CLEAN TITLE, no salvage title. Currently STARTS, and RUNS, and SHIFTS good, sounds GREAT, going on the dyno again, needs advance kit and pump squirters for more fine tuning) all that being stated, i have described this car as best i can, if you want to know more pls call and ask 760-590-4590, or come see car in l.a. or orange county we can DRIVE around and have some FUN!. can run on pump 91 no problem, or 87 with methanol injection on (not needed for 91) PERFOMANCE: I dyno last week 2 times. 1st pull 275 Rwhp, 2 spark plug wires melted to headers (fixed), 2nd Dyno 340Rwhp, valves adjusted, 3rd dyno pull 350 Rwhp, confirming the engine dyno results of 445HP 450 tq (with no fine tuning and small vac sec carb) Dyno's performed at Swanson's performance in torrance CA, Racers Edge Tuning in Downey, CA 2x, and engine dyno at Kram Mckall in Ridgecrest, CA 4months ago when Crower cam installed. The cam idles well at 1k, starts fast and easy, drives well hot AND cold, with no choke needed at 50F, no dripping, smoking, knock or ping, smooth and powerfull, effortless tire burns, exhaust not too loud or obnoxious, 4k at 70mph is a bit high for me on CA freeways, but got 10-12 mpgs on long freeway drives. i finished 3 tanks of gas now, i fixed the entire charging system, power steering pump, spark plug wires, 2-3 gaskets, some clamps and bolts, and it has been fun, and gets attention EVERYWHERE. The 2400 stall, and powerband are great, vac and cam feel good midrange and peak at 6k, nice street muscle car with good manors )) suspension is great if bouncy with rear air shocks up for the rake, front ccould use new tubular a arms for better geometry (2" lowered front stress ball joints) OVERALL IMPRESSION: See the pictures. Looks fine at 20 ft, typical 20/20 car ready for paint, i was just gonna paint it, but better to let the buyer choose the paint colors, est for paint is 3500 with door support panel and all panels alligned, in laguna blue/blk stripes. Fun car to DRIVE, not a showcar, not an original collector, not a 40K g-machine. THIS IS a DRIVER, to burn tires have fun, and tinker yourself, OR, a base to restore or make something more if you want. A word on the VIN, title and VIN tag: When i bought this car 2yrs ago it had an IMPALA vin tag on the dash. I called the California Highway Patrol, and DMV, I was instructed to disassembled the front of the car for a CHP inspection and investigation. The results are Vin tag swapped in 1974, and no further records of case. Under the laws of the US, California, the CHP, and DMV, THIS TITLE IS CLEAN, and CLEAR. NO LEIN, NO SALVAGE, NO OTHER CLAIM, this is a CLEAN, CLEAR title, and a VERIFIED, CERTIFIED true match for the current CLEAN, CLEAR title to the hidden chassis id VIN of this car. I think that was a clear enough explanation. I RESTORED the original VIN to the title of this car as a labor of love for classic cars, at great personal expense. TRUST SIXTIES IRON 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK, you may also call the Mojave, CHP office and ask for Officer Gore. He is the investigator of this car that rivited it's new CORRECT, MATCHING VIN TAG to this car. Officer Gore is the VIN verification officer for my area of California, and has special training in these instances. A word on bodywork/FRAME of car: The panel that holds the door up on this car IS NOT part of the frame of this car. PERIOD. it's NOT. it is a 4 tack weld replacable panel that supports the weight of the door. the one on this car has some hammer marks, and the door is not original, and the rear quarter panel on the driver side has been worked a bit. OK, all that being said, THIS CAR IS 40 yrs old, i DO NOT KNOW it's history to every fender bender or door ding, or replaced fender or panel,.....WHAT I DO KNOW, 3-4 body shops took a look, and say NO PROBLEM AT ALL. 3k-4k, same color and all panels fit better than new, and the FRAME IS FINE. You can ask for Louis at High sierra auto collision in Ridgecrest, CA for details. if you like, i was qouted 3500 for the paint and body that panel included, and front end fitted PERFECT better than new. I will try to post a written est before auction end. last appraised in 2001 at 20k when current paint was new. I have disclosed as much as I know and/or can REMEMBER about this classic camaro. The first NON-PAYING bidder felt i did not disclose enough information and the pics where a bit old, i understand, i was out of state and unable to coordinate this sale from there. I am NOW LOCATED WITH THE CAR in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. i drive car EVERYDAY, and can assist you or meet you, or anything you want to know i can look into. Increase your pump gas octane by 20-25 points and make more power. More power and efficiency with cooler running for your naturally aspirated V8 Muscle Car. This kit uses a progressive controller that proportionally injects more or less according to manifold vacuum. Start and full points are adjustable for engagement and delivery curve, to match what the engine requires. High compression modified engines can gain performance through cooler intake charges and the large increase in octane and detonation suppression. It can also be geared towards fuel economy and using lower grades of gasoline.
