Vehicle Detail

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over what a dealer might ask for the same vehicle by eliminating most of the overhead expenses they pass down to you. Before listing a vehicle on ebay, I personally drive it so that I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based on how it runs and drives, not a professional inspection. The information contained within this description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be confirmed as I am not a mechanic, nor do I have the facility, equippment or training to provide a professional evaluation. If you would like to inspect any vehicle in my inventory, just let me know and we can set up a time to meet at my storage facility. You are encouraged to bring your mechanic, your cousin or anyone you feel may be helpfull. An administrative fee of $99 will be added to the final bid of each auction. All vehicles are sold "as-is" and "as-traded". Unless specifically stated, I do not service or recondition any vehicle. Any known faults are fully disclosed. Please read the entire description before bidding. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very nice 1997 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition. I would rate the exterior of this Expedition as AVERAGE. The Eddie Bauer specific two tone paint scheme looks great. With the exception of a long scratch that has been touched up on the left fender, the exterior looks excellent. The paint has a nice, deep shine and looks good from any angle. All of the glass and lenses appear to be in tact. The tires are okay but definitely not new. The finish on the front left wheel is a little rough but that's about the worst I can say about the exterior. This gorgeous truck would look great in anyones driveway. I would also rate the interior as AVERAGE. The drives seat is starting to come apart at the stitching which is common with a vehicle that sits up high. Otherwise, all of the seats are in great condition. The carpet is clean and full looking. This Expedition is very well equipped. In addition to the usual power windows, locks and mirrors, this one comes with power seats and power rear side vents. There is front and rear air conditioning and the air blows cold. The climate control appears to be in working order although I think the temperature knob has a mind of its own sometimes. The stereo is the optional Mach Audio which sounds great (my neighbors can probably confirm that) and has the CD changer in the center console. All the original owners books are included with the truck. The facroty remote entry system works as it should. The third row seat is nice but can be removed for extra cargo space. Mechanically, this Expedition is in great shape. The powerfull 5.4L engine starts right up and runs smoothly. This is a great engine and they make lots of power. I didn't see evidence of any leaks. While driving, the oil pressure and engine temperature held right where they should. Other than an SRS light, there are no warning lights on. The suspension and steering are nice and tight. The brakes stop the truck well but there is some slight pulsation in the pedal, suggesting the rotors are a little warped which is common with a heavy vehicle. When I got this truck, I didn't like how it handled so I had my mechanic look it over. Long story short, I replaced both front air shocks as well as just about every bushing under there. The good news is, that's close to $1,000 you don't have to worry about spending. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts very well. The 4WD is engaged with the turn of a knob and can be set on either 2WD, AWD, 4HI and 4LO. The 4WD engages easily. These are great, tough trucks. The big engine is nice and they last forever. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
