Before listing a vehicle on ebay, I personally test drive each one so I can tell you first hand how it looks runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based on how it runs and drives, not a professional inspection. The information contained within this description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be confirmed as I am not a mechanic, nor do I have the facility, tools or training to offer a professional mechanical evaluation. Please read the entire description before bidding. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is quite a nice find. This exceptional 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited only has 94,000 miles since new. What also makes this a great find is that it is a California car (still on CA title) which means NO RUST! I would rate the body of this Jeep as EXCELLENT. The paint shines great from any angle. I'm sure there are some scratches somewhere, but nothing that comes close to standing out. I didn't see a spec of rust...not even under the tailgate, which is the first place they usually start to rust. All of the glass and lenses appear to be in tact. The tires have about half tread left. The only thing it could use cosmetically would be a new set of hatch struts ($30 here on ebay). The original ones don't hold up the rear gate anymore. Otherwise, I can't find a single thing to complain about. The next owner of this truck should be very happy. I would also rate the interior of this Jeep as EXCELLENT. As you can see, the dark tan leather seats show pretty much no wear. The carpets and headliner are in great condition, too. Both front seats are power operated and work as they should. The power locks, windows and mirrors all work as they should. The ASC sunroof does not appear to work (unless I just don't know how to work it). I ran it through the car wash once, and left it out in a few of the major storms we just had locally and it does not leak a single drop. The climate control is fully automatic and works perfectly. The air conditioner is ice cold. The factory premium sound has been upgraded with a more modern CD player and sounds excellent. Again, not a single bad thing to say about the interior of this great Jeep. Mechanically, this Jeep is in good condition. The big 5.2L engine starts right up and runs smoothly. With 225hp and 300llb-ft of torque, power is not an issue! While driving, the engine keeps a nice, cool operating temperature and perfect oil pressure. There were no warning lights on. The brakes stop the truck well and show no pulsation. The front end feels a little loose which is common as these trucks age. Typical causes are ball joints and front stabilizer bushings. I've driven much, much worse but it will need attention sooner or later depending on your states inspection laws. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts like it should. The 4WD is the Quadra-Trac full time 4WD system which works well. This looks to be a very well kept Jeep that anyone should be proud to own.
