My 2001 Toyota MR2 Spyder is for sale: Has some unique features reserved for luxury sports cars: [~] Rear Wheel Drive [~] 4 Wheel Ventilated Disc Brakes [~] Drilled Pedals [~] Race Car Derived Chassis and Handling [~] Mid-Engine Design [~] Functional Side Air Intakes [~] Glass Rear Window with Defogger. I'll miss this car, I've only had it a short while, but must sell now to cover extra medical bills for the family. Great cruising with the top down, enjoying the Summer sun and breeze. The rear wing spoiler adds to the sportiness. I can make u-turns with no space, park it anywhere, parallel parking is no problem. It sticks to the ground, safe and stable. I always see people checking out this car. It's one of those eye-catching & head-turning type of car. It's just a very fun car to drive. This Toyota is easy to maintain, ultra-reliable (built in Japan), and fuel efficient. Gas Saver. VEHICLE CONDITION Mechanical: Very Good to Excellent. Runs smoothly, no problems. Has four practically new tires, recently replaced suspension, new battery, and new clutch. Interior: Very Good. A few tiny scratches, a small blemish on the glove compartment, and regular wear and tear on the steering wheel and shifter knob leather (see photos). Everything else is perfect, no missing parts, all original features look good and work well. Exterior: Good to Very Good. Top works well, paint is shiny, and car has no dents. But, the paint does have a few small scratches/peel areas (front bumper, wing, rear quarter panel), and a small rip on the cloth top near the rear window. (See photos below) Maintenance Done: Four new tires, and replaced suspension (at 50,000 miles). Replaced clutch (at 60,000 miles). Replaced battery (at 80,000 miles). Regular oil changes with Mobil 1 synthetic oil. I recently purchased this MR2 from a friend in Arizona, so it'll have AZ plates when sold, because there's no need for me to register it now that I can't keep it. AZ tags registration expires in Feb 2012. Easy to register in Calif, Nev or Ariz. (I can advise you through the process if you don't have experience.) However, if you're in a different state, please check with your DMV guidelines before bidding. Buyer agrees to standard selling terms: All sales final, car sold as-is, no warranties, and buyer is responsible for any DMV registration/shipping fees. Overall, this is a reliable car that runs great. It has the typical wear and tear of ownership, but it's been well maintained and lightly used. I have the original title on hand, and this car has long ago been paid off (no liens), so it's 100% ready to transfer.
