Selling my 2000 Honda S2000. I love the car, but student loans are growing and our new Michigan governor is taking even more money and aid from college students. Along with this car being too small for me, this car needs to go even though I love it. After the sale of this vehicle I am looking to purchase an older honda for less money. The vehicle consistantly gets 26-29 mpg. Kelley Blue Book for the Vehicle is $14, 285 (Private party good condition). MY buy it now price is only $13900 as I am factoring in a few hundred dollars in parts to get the car perfect (Such as a few minor parts for the soft top, touch up for the front bumper, etc.) The vehicle has 30,800 ACTUAL Miles. Fairly low for the year. Basic Information: The car rides and drives great, the suspension is extremely tight and the car shifts like butter. In many respects the car is not even broken in yet. I have owned this car since winter, I have been driving it since snow melted and it has given me absolutely no issues as it shouldnt (It's a Honda with only 30k miles). The vehicle only has 2 modifications: -Megan Racing exhaust manifold (header) -Skunk2 Test Pipe (replaces cat. convertor) Body: (8/10) -Paint looks great, no fading -Paint chip on front bumper approximately 3"x2" -Scratch on gas lid -Minor paint chip on front bumper and drivers fender. These have been somewhat touched up and aren't visible from more than 10 feet -Small paint chip on licence plate area -ONLY 2-3 dings on the entire vehicle. No dents. All 3 dings are less than dime sized and are visible only at certain angles Interior: (9/10) -Interior is in excellent condition. The shifter console chrome plating has some minor chipping / peeling -No rips, tears or significant wear on any of the leather Mechanical: -Check engine light and maintenance light are ON for there being no cat. converter (due to the aftermarket exhaust components as stated above). -Absolutely no fluid leaks, or any other performance or driving issues. -Could use a front end alignment. If I get the time I will get this done before the sale. -Small vibration from the aftermarket exhaust components, these vibrations/noises occur at 1300-1500 rpm then go away until 2900-3100 rpm. These are the only times there are rumbles or vibration noises. Other bad: -Soft top has 2 identical snags, one on each side. They are repairable and approximately 1"x2" in size. -The soft top "Strikers" are worn and thus there is a small air wooshing noise above 45mph. These parts are only $25.00 new from Honda, and take no mechanical knowledge to replace. This is an extremely common issue with these vehicles. --------------------------------------- Car is sold as-is. The driving and mechanical condition of the car is very good, however I am a private seller and am not offering or going to guarantee you anything.
