1965 Chevy short bed pickup , original yellow paint ! Very solid Ca. truck with black lic. plates . Currently registered , daily driven by my friend Robert who I am listing it for (he is a mechanic and not a computer guy ). Has a great running 350 dressed to look like a 283 , later full syncro 3 speed with nice Hurst shifter on the floor , stock rear end . Needs a little body work as you can see , but looks very cool the way it is if you just want a fun driver . Near new wide whitewalls , shocks , mufflers , brakes and all kinds of stuff . Nice glass . Looks good with or without the hubcaps , there are 2 more in the bed for a total of 4 . Bunch of extra parts in the bed are included . Enjoy it or excellent base to restore as far as you like . Floors are really nice and except for the body work areas you can see , it's a really nice old truck ! Bed floor is original wood , just a sheet of diamond plate lating on top of it not even screwed down . Any questions please call 818)517-7508 . A brand new set is avail. at "The truck shop" in Orange Ca. for $320 with clips . The original trans is in the bed included as well . The truck runs and shifts very well . I found a drivers side door here locally for $100 , the orig. is certainly fixable though (it looks like it was swung open too far at some point ) it opens and shuts very nicely however . The truck is really solid and clean underneath . The speedometer is not working , all lights , signals and gauges are though . It turns heads and get lots of compliments just the way it sits .On May-23-11 at 19:48:38 PDT, seller added the following information: ORIGINAL PAINT SHORTBED ! NOTHING IS HIDING . There is damage on the drivers door from it opening too far , a little bit in front of the left rear wheel well , a little on the right rocker and door , THAT"S ABOUT IT except for minor dings and suff . Small spot of rust on the lower front fenders , that's all I saw rustwise . Otherwise the body is cherry , drip rails , floor etc. really nice . Bitchin daily driver or full restoration platform .
