Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a late 1985 Porsche 944. This car sports the factory arctic silver paint; with tan leather interior and black dash and headliner. I purchased this vehicle in Spring of 2009 from a dealership in Florida and drove it back it Michigan. The dash has absolutely no cracks. I am the third owner of this vehicle. This car starts and runs like a champ, I was using it as an everyday driver averaging 60 miles a day. This vehicle has always been garaged in the winter so it has never seen snow or salt. This Porsche is completely rust free. The vehicle has just under 57k original miles. The interior includes power windows, power driver seat, folding rear seats, tan carpet, tan leather seats, original radio and speakers. The speakers sound very good and the radio is fully functioning except for the cassette player will not eject anymore. The seats show minimal wear with some slight wear on the driver seat from getting in and out. The carpets are very clean and the vehicle comes with Porsche factory mats for front and back to keep them nice. The engine of this Porsche is in very nice condition. I had the battery replaced in 2009 and the alternator replaced in 2010. The clutch slave and master cylinder have also been replaced, which was done last month. This vehicle comes with a strut brace, I purchased this because it was going to cost me $20 for 2 plastic pieces that cost $5 themselves. I figured I might as well get my moneys worth in shipping. This vehicle has never been driven hard in my ownership and I have only ever gotten it to express-way speeds. The air conditioning blows cold but on days that break 85 degrees it feels like it could use a recharge. The heat works very well and has the car nice and toasty in no time. The car is very clean on the inside and the engine but the paint could use some touching up but it still looks really good. The hood has a normal amount of rock chips and the front valance is slightly too blue from the dealership I purchased it from not mixing the paint colors right. This flaw is actually quite hard to catch unless you are eye level with the front of the vehicle. There is also door ding on the rear passenger side quarter panel that is about 3.5 inches long, it is pictured but is pretty hard to see. There is also a burn mark of the front quarter panel from being wheeled. This happened before I owned the vehicle but it is starting to make the paint flake a little in a square inch area. The windshield has a crack on the passenger side (pictured). All in all everything electronically and mechanically work immaculately. *Please note I have the original cold air intake in the car right now but I do not have it pictured. I will be giving the buyer both the original and the aftermarket that I have pictured.* I am selling this car as is. I am willing to ship but at buyer's expense. All in all this is an amazing vehicle and deserves to have you driving it. Please contact me with any questions you may have or if you'd like to see additional photos. Good luck bidding! Also the tires have about 75% tread left.
