1970 Ford Mustang Sport-Back Complete Frame Off Restoration Inspections are welcomed, with a 24 hour advance notice, and are to be completed before the end of auction. This car comes complete with Marti Report, showing that it started out as a plain Fastback Sportroof 3 speed manual transmission Mustang, with just a few basic options, such as AM radio, power steering, and color keyed racing mirrors. This car has been in our family since it was purchased new, and has spent most of it's life in Florida, before making it's way to Michigan about 5 years ago. This could be easily made into a nice clone of a Mach1 or even the rarest of all for this year – a Boss 351 Mustang. The choice is yours! Or you can just keep and enjoy it as it is, a non-AC, plain 1970 Ford Mustang Fast Back with some of the most desirable improvements, such as a 351C 4v engine, 4 speed manual Hurst shifted transmission, and front disc brakes. Some Mustang enthusiasts will claim that the 1970 Boss 351 never existed, however, after some extensive research I’ve done, turns out that actually Ford did make some 1970 Mustangs Boss 351 Test vehicles for the auto shows, they also made at least 2 1970 Boss 351 Mustang race cars. I believe it's in the 1970 edition of Mustang Magazine with the gold 70 on the cover. Anyway, the race cars had exhausts that exited just in front of the rear tires and ran the Boss 351 motor. The Boss came down the assembly line just as the hardtops and SportRoofs, unlike the SVT there were no special hand-assembled engines signed by the builders. Your average Boss 351 Cleveland was available in 1971 with a short option list: Sports deck rear seat, AM radio, and power steering. What the Boss lacked in options, it made up for in standard components, such as the 330 horse 351 4V, Hurst-shifted four-speed, and 3.91:1 Traction-Lock rear axle. Other standard items were power disc brakes and big F60/15 Firestone or Goodyear rubber mounted on the special 15-inch steel rims with the cool-looking trim rings and caps. Owners also received the front spoiler as standard. Inside, the Boss was-unless ordered otherwise-as plain as the plainest base-model hardtop with the exception of the standard gauge package. Here is an absolutely beautiful 1970 Ford Mustang. This is a totally solid car front to back and has been completely gone through. Just about 99.9% of all of its components were replaced with new or rebuilt parts, It features a 351Cleveland motor with a new(remanufactured) Holly 4 Barrel Carburetor, backed by rebuilt 4 Speed Manual Hurst Transmission. This car features a ton of new parts and was just completed this year and is road ready, it also features many desirable options like power steering, power brakes, and disc front brakes. 99.9% of everything on this car is virtually new. Finished in Beautiful High Impact "Crow Black" Color with Black Interior No expense was spared while restoring this beauty, including a High Quality professional paint job, using 5 coats of best quality Hi-Impact Paint, finished with 7 layers of Clear Coat. Audio: This Classic Mustang features a Concours Series – Custom Autosound 240 Watt USA-630 classic car radio, Kenwood 6x9 speakers and 6CD Changer mounted in the trunk. This radio has large OEM style push-buttons that give a perfect look in a classic dash. Although it looks classic it has the latest modern features. USB input on the back of the radio allows you to plug in a USB flash drive for playback of MP3/WMA song files. This jack is on an 14” extension which allows you to place it in the glove box or ash tray for easy access. The new alpha numeric display (30% larger than previous models) shows the song/artist/album (id3) titles during playback of MP3/WMA files. With the built in CD controller you have complete control of 6 disc CD changer. This same CD controller also facilitates the optional iCAMKIT iPod interface that turns your iPod on/off and charges it while giving you control to advance songs or play list from the buttons on the radio. With 240 watts the radio should have all the power you may need, if you want more there are four pre-outs jacks on the back of the radio for optional amplifiers. The back of the radio also has auxiliary audio input for satellite radio or any portable player you may wish to use. 6 DISK CD CHANGER MADE EXCLUSIVELY BY CUSTOM AUTOSOUND FOR THEIR RADIOS, AND WORKS EXTREMELY WELL WITH THE USA-630 CUSTOM AUTOSOUND CLASSIC RADIO. It operates from the buttons on the USA-630 radio, and features 1 Bit 8x times oversampling, Twin digital-to- analog converter, 3-Beam laser tracking, Disc select up/down, Track up/down, Anti-shock and vibration free design. This Mustang has a beautiful just completed "Crow Black" paint job that looks amazing and is definitely a head turner. The body is totally solid and rust free. All the chrome and trim on the car are brand new and look perfect. Laser straight body with absolutely no rust, and no bondo, has a brilliant paint job, with absolutely no dents, no scratches, and no blemishes of any kind anywhere. The black interior is mostly brand new with very few items left unrestored and features all new custom made professionally installed seat covers, new headliner, new carpet, new dash, new windshield, new door panels, and all new weather stripping. The steering wheel is brand new “Grant” wheel. This '70 Ford runs and drives excellent. It has a freshly rebuilt about a year ago 351 Cleveland motor that runs like new. The underside of this Mustang is also all 100% brand new, new Edlebrock shocks, all new front and rear suspensions.This Mustang is a rare find having totally rebuilt drive train and fresh Frame-Off complete body restoration, has all new body parts, all new trim, door handles, window frames, window trim, .
