1998 GMC 3500 Diesel Cargo Van. I am selling this for a friend. Please feel free to email me to make an appointment to inspect the van before you bid on it. It is in storage in Bridgehampton, New York, and has not been registered for nearly two years. Battery is dead, but the engine did run recently. I have a reserve of less than $600.00 because I do not know the condition of the engine, nor how well it runs.This is definitely a van that will need work, and it will be sold in "as-is" condition.Thank you for your interest.Actual mileage is unknown, and van is sold in "as-is" condition. On May-17-11 at 18:31:56 PDT, seller added the following information: People have contacted me with concerns after they did a history check that a lein was put on the van in 2008. My friend who asked me to put this on eBay told me that the title had a lein stamp on it, but it was settled. I will find out what bank we need to get a letter from to prove that the title has already been cleared.If I cannot document the clear title by Thursday, then I will close the auction down in order to clear up any confusion. I provided the VIN of the van and they have confirmed that the lein has been satisfied. They are mailing me a lein release letter so the new owner can supply it to the dmv with the old title in order to register it.You may get the same confirmation I did over the phone by calling ally at: 888.925.2559 then dial zero for assistance.
