Vehicle Detail
Please! Lets not waste each others time like the previous bidder. Serious buyers only! You are bidding on a 1970 Nova two door coupe. I bought this car in 06 and have invested a decent amount of time and money since. The car ran fine when I purchased it there were just some things that I wanted to do to it in order to give it some attitude. You could drive this car daily if you wanted to but my job requires me to have a truck so it was a one weekend a month cruise around town. The car simply sounds awesome and it is a serious head turner. Tame enough for the wife and kids to drive but also has some serious muscle if you decide to go there. I built this car to cruise and not to show although it shows very well it is still a 41 year old car. And with a 41 year old survivor you will get some minor surface rust in a few spots. It is still a very solid car. Here is a list of the things I've done or the car has and if you have any questions please feel free to call me. I have nothing to hide and it still is my baby and I would like to see it go to someone that will care for it the way I did. The reason I'm selling it is our association recently put in speed bumps and I fairly recently lowered the car to my liking and I cant stand the fact that I have to use 2x4 pieces to now get it out of the nieghborhood. My wife also wants a new BMW in the garage and it is to tight of fit for my liking. The car runs very cool and has less than 500 miles since a top end rebuild. (The car had a blown head gasket shortly after I bought it) If I put 2500 miles on this car since 06 I would be shocked but I was always doing something to it as far as upgrades. You could simply drive and park this car for the next five years without doing anything to it. Again it is a very nice car to drive. 383 ci “Stroker” Motor Late Model Block Hydraulic Roller Camshaft Forged pistons Steel crank Steel Rods SFI Crank Damper New SFI Flex Plate New 6 Quart Oil Pan Melling Oil Pump AED 750 CFM Carburetor Private Grind Cam Aluminum Edelbrock Ported Heads 10.9:1 Compression All MSD Ignition New coolant expansion tank New Starter New Battery New Fuel tank w/ sending Unit Turbo 350 w/TCI Street Stall Speed Torque Convertor 4 Wheel Disk Brakes w 2” Drop spindles New Master Cylinder New 3:73 gears and Posi Rear End (Shortened 1.5”) Hotchkis Rear Leaf Springs (2” Lowering Block) Hotchkis Front Coil Springs (1” Drop) Flowmaster exhaust New 4 Edelbrock Shocks 1” Front Sway Bar Rebuilt GM Tilt Steering Column New Formula 1 Black Steering Wheel New 3 Gauge Console (Oil, Temp, Volt) New Rally 15 x 6 front rims with BF Goodrich Tires New Rally 15 x 7 rear rims with BF Goodrich Tires Complete undercarriage polyurethane bushing replacement New ball joints, tie rod ends, idler arm, pitman arm sub frame bushings The car has some SS upgrades but is NOT a factory SS The car rides like its on rails.
