Vehicle Detail
I am listing my 1985 2JZGTE Celica Supra for sale because I don't have time to enjoy the car, I have a baby on the way, and would rather have cash to put down on a house. If your looking for a rust free 400+ HP sleeper this is the car. This is not some fart can muffler, fake wing, lambo door, wanna be pseudo race car, this is a no BS go fast car. The car was a labor of love for more and took me almost three years to piece it together. I feel that everything was done rite on the car and no corners were cut. I have had it completed for about a year now but have only driven it about 500 miles since the completion. It has a clean CA title and the registration is current with no fees, buyer is responsible for any paperwork an/or emissions check. I have shipped vehicles before and I am willing to work with anyone willing to handle shipping the car. Vehicle is sold AS IS and has no warranty sale is final. Here is my list of work done to the car. Intercooler -12x24x3 intercooler - -2.5" aluminum intercooler tubing - -Black silicone couplers and only T-bar clamps -Steel upper and lower intercooler brackets (you could lift the car by the IC) -removed AC components -Tail Q Bov (correct spring for vac) -TRAC removed from the throttle body Oil -External engine oil cooler- $50 -OEM oil cooler removed and replaced with IS300 oil filter mount and 85' oil pressure sensor is mounted to the filter housing bolt. As well as extra cooling tubes removed and welded shorter. -Uses stock pressure gauge -Currently has mobil1 10-30w -Filter relocated to frame rail below throttle body and uses a Ford 460 filter -5/8 rubber oil hose for oil system Cooling -Stock Radiator, cleaned and low miles -Mk4 clutch fan -Polished and capped off upper coolant neck -New oem Water pump and backing -New upper rad hose and clamps -Water wetter/Toyota coolant -Uses stock temp gauge Engine -AEM adj Cam gears -New Toyota timing belt + tensioner -USDM cams -NGK 6097's gapped to 25 (slight miss at idle) -New Toyota valve seals -New seals and gaskets through engine engine (only one not replaced was the head gasket) -Cleaned and painted all plastics black -Polished valve covers -New PCV valve -Silicone vacuum lines, black -New Gates drive belt (still have the AC compressor in place) -Sold mounts -Lokar throttle cable Steering -Custom High press steering line (obviously) -Steering res from Celica with custom mount (it does not have a PS cooler but has LOTS of room for one) -Steering rack looks new, could just be the 40k miles on the body or could have been replaced before me. -Not using a cooler, could use one if you plan on doing a lot of steering and there's A LOT of room for one Fuel -540cc SARD injectors on polished oem rail, new seals --4AN FPR adaptor with Jegs fitting and braided lines -Magnafuel AFPR with jegs pressure gauge, good for 700 hp -Driftmotion braided fuel rail feed line -OEM Mk4 fuel filter -Walbro 255 pump and resealed tank Exhaust -Earls -4an turbo feed line plus restrictor and -12? Return, all earls fittings and hose (no clamps!!) -Ebay single manifold (the good twin WG tube style one) -Tial Silver 44mm WG with 9psi spring -PT61 Turbo with High Temp silver hot side coating and .58 exh side, full boost before 4k -FULL 100% stainless 3" exhaust and a 3" x 2 2.5" magnaflow muffler with 2.5" stainless tips, looks like stock. -Down pipe is V-banded on both ends and has a flex section below the O2 sensors. -Stainless stock O2 bung and mild steel wideband bung (I was told it was stainless) -Has port in DP for a EGT sensor -100% Tig welded -GREAT sounding but loud with the open waste gate Drive line -Fidanza Aluminum flywheel, purchased used but I measured and balanced it before installation -RPS MAX PP and 6 puck sprung disk (ill give you an unsprung one too) -New oem flywheel bolts -Driftmotion braided clutch line -New oem slave cyl -New oem fork mounting hardware -New oem pilot bearing -r154 Transmission -White nylon shifter bushing and socket bushing -Shifter heated and bent to proper angle -Auto trans x-member -Aluminum 1pc drive shaft with 1310 U-joints (100mph tested) -4runner diff flange and matching DS flange -New oem pinion seal -New oem Jz Bellhousing, does NOT have inspection plates on it because everyone wants a fortune for them. -4.30 gears, new diff fluid and additive -235 BFG's in back, 205's in front Electrical -Stock Aristo auto ECU -Greddy BCC -Apexi AFC NEO (currently doing anything but could use some fuel pulled out runs a little rich at WOT) -Innovate autotimer/LC1 wideband combo -AEM truboost controller -All factory gauges on the cluster are setup to work with the 2jz -MSD tach adapter -Harness extended 18" inches and ECU located in glove box (not a lot of room for the big ECU so there is no glove box, there is only ECU) -All interior electronics are connected to a separate relay off the battery and are controlled by the ignition and connected to either a + or - electrical bar -All coil plugs were replaced with new plugs but there are still plugs on the engine harness that are cracked or missing the locking tabs but all function correctly (im sure I missed things but that’s the major stuff) Things that don’t work or need work -No Radio -No AC -No heater (needs the rear temp sensor to work, but blower does function) -Rear wiper -Anything electrical located in center console (harness cut under radio) -Power windows, no provision in the celica door panels for the switches but I do have power regulators you can have -No wing, I have one, it needs repair and painting to match -Window molding, I have all of the missing parts, I like it missing stuff though adds to the sleeper look I was going for. -lower oil pan was damaged in shipping, I straightened it before the engine when it but it didn't reseal correctly and I assume the pan is slightly bent. It was leaking but I did the only funky thing I have done to the car and sealed the outside with GM silicone and it has held the leak back since November. -The car has 45k miles on the body. The interior of the car was replaced the interior with a clean blue Celica interior and crank windows. All the wiring under the console was cut so nothing that goes in there functions. As you would expect it does drive very nice because it is a genuine low mile body but again its not at all perfect. It suited my build perfect because as you know our cars are either real nice and the price reflects it or they are 300k mile turds that need some major TLC. I didn’t want to drop a lot of money on a shell because all of my money was going into the engine, but with some interior work and minor cosmetics it would be an extremely nice body. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dGgI4LEfKw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NErzLS5H9a4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xi6zV41ujQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8RYV1iz9Ck This is the link to all the photos I have of the car completed.
