You are bidding on a 1992 BMW 535i. This car has been garage kept all of its life and is very clean inside and out. The 3.5l I-6 engine runs smooth with no leaks and transmission shifts smoothly and quiet. There are a few small hail dents in the roof and a couple scratches and rock chips in the paint but overall it is in very good shape. The interior is clean but has a few wear spots, the door pocket on the driver side has some of the material peeling off, the plastic around the shifter is cracking, glove box door needs a new hinge and there is a small tear in the back seat. The car has also been well maintained. Oil has been changed every 4k with synthetic oil and BMW filters. A new radiator, hoses and water pump were replaced 2 years ago as preventive maintenance. The clutch and flywheel were also done at the same time. Fuel pump, fuel filter and all the brakes were replaced in Nov '10. Spark plugs and oil, oil filter, and air filter replaced Apr '11. There are still some issues that still need to be addressed, One of the power steering lines need to be replaced, it seeps about half a quart every 6 months. There is an injector that ticks but the car still runs good. There is an ebay seller who sells a set for $100. The exhaust has a rattles only when you shut the car off but there are no leaks and it doesn't affect the sound. The passenger seat doesn't move up and down but it still moves forward and back. The cruise control is unhooked, it was like that when I bought the car but I never looked into it. The engine could probably use a tune up.
