For auction is this 1963 Cadillac Convertible. As you can see from the pictures, the body of the car is quite clean. This is a very desireable Cadillac, and the reserve is set quite low in my opinion. I hope someone will take interest and be able to put this beautiful car on the road once again. The previous owner started the restoration process, but it has not yet been completed. It needs the interior finished, some chrome, etc. I understand that the bumpers were rechromed and other bodywork done, and has had a surprising amount of money invested in it already. My uncle bought the car about 7 or 8 years ago, and it has sat in his garage since. We did pull it out to take the pictures, and it started right up. Those of you viewing this auction may be a better judge of what it needs and how far you want to take it. It has a 390 cubic inch V8 that runs decent, although it has not been driven for quite some time so I'm sure it will need a tune up. The top looks to be in very nice condition, and the body and bumpers look very nice and straight. There is a small dent in the passenger side door which I tried to take close up pictures of. This happened while backing a boat up next to it for winter storage. Underneath the car looks good also- I took some pictures of the gas tank and some other views. It has a rustproof coating on the frame, tank, suspension components, etc. You can see the floor in the pictures. The seats appear to be original, and are just sitting inside the car. It looks like the interior will be most of the work. The car will come with an assortment of interior and exterior parts, but it is unknown if all of them will work with the car or not. They are from similar vintage Cadillacs, including headlights, grill parts, some chrome, and some interior parts. The car has a clear Minnesota title. We do not offer shipping, but will do whatever we can to accomodate your arrangements.
