Here's a 70 Challenger restoration project vehicle. Vehicle is all matching numbers driveline, 383 HP ci. engine, 4 bbl. carb, 727 automatic trans, and 3.23 "489" open 8 3/4 rear differential. An original FE5 Rallye Red car with Rallye Red 14" steel wheels and dogdish caps. Currently has 14" 1973 dated Rally wheels and center caps, the spare is original from the car. I'm the third owner of this vehicle and that's been for the last 10 or so years. Odometer shows 126427.3 miles. I've only put on roughly 2000 miles in the time I've owned it. Engine has never been removed from the car. Engine runs smooth, trans shifts fine, and rear end is fine. Included in sale are brand new Auto Body Specialties front floor pans, ABS trunk pan drop-offs, ABS inner wheelhouses, Goodmark trunk floor, which is for a Cuda, only differance is the fuel tank tube area which would need to be cut out, and from a parts car Challenger front frame rails with torsion bar crossmember. A small area on the drivers side frame rail will need to be replaced right where it meets the crossmember. Trunk floor will need to be replaced. Usual rust around rear quarters. I will include a nice trunk lid from a 72 Challenger, no Gull Wing or T/A spoiler provisions are on that one. Firewall is OK. Rocker panels are OK but I will include new ABS rocker panels. Fuel tank and sending unit are brand new already installed. Originally this vehicle came with a standard flat hood. Radiator is a Modine replacement. Exhaust currently factory style mufflers / resonators with turned down N95 exhaust. The repo T/A hood, chin spoilers, and decklid spoiler were added by a previous owner. I have three Broadcast sheets and the fender tag, the drivers side door VIN decal is gone. It's a May 11, 1970 SPD build car. The radiator core support and cowl VIN are all matching. A fairly nice optioned Challenger with the following: front power disc brakes, power steering, A/C - needs charging, bench seat, rear defroster, R35-5 way speaker stereo system, 3 speaker dash with faders for the two rear speakers (AM/FM radio missing), Rallye suspension with front and rear sway bars, woodgrain steering wheel, 70 AMP alternator, tinted glass all around (passenger side is a replacement piece), LH and RH painted racing mirrors ( I have the correct passenger one which is included), A01 light package, N41 dual exhaust N95 California Emissions. Only one small tear in the seats on the fold down arm rest on the front bench seat. Headliner is nice. More pictures upon request. Inspection is welcome. A decent overall nicely optioned Challenger needing a restoration. Vehicle is locally for sale and I reserve the right to end this auction early.
