Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1949 Chevy Deluxe Fastback. The car needs total restoration. It has the original 216 6cyl with 3 speed on the column. The engine turns by hand, but I have not had it running. I bought this car from Ebay and had plans on making it a cool street rod. The car IS complete except it is missing the passenger side front fender stainless spear. I had the original gas tank cleaned, checked and sealed. It is ready to be used. The car was from Georgia and was last plated in 1983. The tag is still on the car. It needs lower front fender panels, inner and outer rockers on both sides, front floor pans, inside lower door panels,(outer door skins are good) trunk pan, patch panels behind the gravel guards(both sides) and the rear sail panel between the tail lights. The bumpers are painted steel(scrap) The seats are in pretty good shape. They were redone at some point by someone. The rear floor area is good. The car is ready to be lifted off the frame. The fenders, doors, and hood are off. The radiator is out but had water in it when removed. The passenger side window is busted,it came with a replacement, but its a tinted top and a matching drivers side would be needed. The wing glass is cracked on both sides, the door glass is cracked on both sides, the rear windows are good and rolled up and down with no problems, but have been removed. The rear window is great and also removed. The car has had body work started(stripping) sanding, etc. This would be an awesome car for someone looking for a no hurry project. The car is located in Zanesville,Ohio at my cousins body shop. IT WAS SOLD TO ME WITH NO TITLE,BUT I DO HAVE A NOTORIZED BILL OF SALE and the vin plate is still on the car. I just dont have the money to fix it like I wanted. Again, CAR NEEDS TOTAL RESTORATION. IT IS A PROJECT DISASSEMBLED. Thanks, and happy bidding. On May-14-11 at 07:53:46 PDT, seller added the following information: I have some more pics if needed. This is a 2 door car. IT IS A 1950 NOT A 1949. Sorry,I never took the time to look it up. I went by the previous owner and the paperwork I recieved. AGAIN THIS IS A 1950 CHEVY.On May-19-11 at 10:03:12 PDT, seller added the following information: I contacted the previous owner, and I have a new notorized bill of sale coming stating its a 1950 Chevy sold to me on 1/17/11 for 1650.00.
