Before listing a vehicle on ebay, I personally test drive it so that I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is an extremely nice 1997 Chevrolet Suburban. This example is the LS model finished in dark green with tan interior. It comes to you in the more desirable "barn doors" layout. I would rate the exterior of this Suburban as ABOVE AVERAGE. With the exception of some rust isolated to the rear bumper (see photos), there really isn't anything bad to say about the body on this one. The dark green paint has a rich, deep shine from any angle. Besides the rear bumper, I couldn't find any rust on the body of this one which is very hard to find. All of the glass is in tact. The tires have decent tread on them. There is a receiver hitch under the bumper for towing as well as a brake controller for heavier loads. This is an all around great looking truck that anyone would be proud to own. The interior of this Suburban is also in great condition. I would rate the interior of this truck as EXCELLECT. The seats are all there and show no wear. The carpets are pretty clean and full looking throughout. The headliner is clean and in good condition. This Suburban LS comes with power windows, locks and mirrors. The factory CD stereo system sounds good. The climate control works as it should and includes front and rear air conditioning which is ice cold. The original owners manual is included. This truck comes with two sets of keys and two remotes for the factory remote entry system. These trucks are just great. I buy them whenever I can because they are very reliable and priceless to have around. They can haul 7 adults comfortably with room for luggage, too. They are great towing vehicles. The rear seat comes out in seconds and the middle row lays flat to give you gobs of cargo room if you need it. I try to always have a Suburban around. Mechanically, this Suburban seems to be in great condition. The 350ci V8 starts right up and runs smoothly and quietly. Out on the road, she has excellent road manners. During my time driving it, the engine kept a cool temperature and perfect oil pressure. There were no warning lights on. The suspension and steering both felt nice and tight. The brakes stop this truck well with no issues. The 4WD system engages with the push of a button like it should. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts like it should. Accellerating to highway speeds is a walk in the park. At highway speed, she drives nice and strait with no funny business. With just over 100k on the clock, this one has years and years of service left in it. The air filter has been upgraded to a K&N unit as shown in the photographs.
